My curry at the SYD QFi lounge, I had one beef piece, in the curry, with the rice.
Not bad, the curry was bland.
I don't like my stuff too spicy, but this one was bland.
The beef piece was too chewy, not like slow cooked. Or pressure cooker cooked.
But I guess for what I paid, (grin) Aud$855, I would have to eat my worth, not sure what to do when the renewal comes up, should I go VA the Lounge all the way, or keep up with QF's the Lounge.
Some might consider it slop, not in the rude context I am sure, but in the end, its what we pay collectively for.
Would we be happy paying say, Aud$1150 (plus say a $400 joining fee-totalling, $1550), then $1150 a year for better food in the QF Lounge, say a chef who fries up noodles to order? Not $855.
Or maybe freshly made sushi rolls made to order?
Or even lets presuppose, Atlantic Salmon sandwich with roe on the side?
