Caltex Starcard/QFF

Just wondering if anyone has swiped their Woolworths rewards card at Caltex stations and double dipped? I'm not sure some of the attendants would notice/care or is this something the system will override and cancel?

Just received this email and it appears to differ from the T&C which state the spend is required 30 days from linking your accounts.

Hmm this is going to be difficult for me then. I received the email of approval today and have linked the accounts just in time for the 28th Feb deadline. However I imagine the card won’t arrive for another few days so there is no way I could hit the $150 spend this month.

Going to call them now and will report back.

I started with the Starcard at the start of Feb , tried rewards with first purchase and it cancelled the transaction with the card. I think its because the starcard will give 4c off so you cant double dip. Apparently when your direct debit notification comes in there is an option to pay with credit card though so Ill be dipping for more points there

I managed to spend $150 in Feb but some of the transactions haven’t posted yet. Hoping it is based on the transaction date if it is by calendar month.

The person I spoke to on the phone confirmed that it runs calendar month but as I was approved at the very end of the Feb that my first month will be March.

I rang their service centre and they promised to credit for Feb manually given the transaction on Feb 28 missed the statement period.

I was trying to find out when points might get posted and it looks like the standard 60 days. Im a bit worried as almost all my purchases are for lpg which is non eligible on some t&cs although Im sure it looked ok when I signed up. Ive got a couple of petrol purchases too so I guess we shall see

Has anyone got points posted from Feb yet? I logged on this morning and saw a strange point allocation of 27 points,, can't see what it is yet though. I'm hoping the 10,000 lands soon.

You'll get points for your fuel spend on top of the bonus points, the rate is different for standard vs premium fuels. I haven't got anything showing up in my account yet and I did complete the $150 spend for Feb, but I also only paid the invoice yesterday, which I suspect is a pre-requisite for getting any points.

Just figured out that 27 points was for 54 litres of unleaded. As I got the card late in Jan and only made one purchase I don't think I've qualified for the Jan spend. Feb is all good so I guess patiently wait for Feb points to post in about a month or so.
