Received an email with an update, glad to see the $ to support the family is going well and that the family can be there with Chloe during her treatment. Hoping they can also take some down time to relax and laugh a bit while they are there, spend some of the $ on an outing to cheer everyone up.

The response has been phenomenal and well beyond every ones expectations. Chloe is on such a high from knowing that her family will be with her through out the treatment process in the USA. They are a very close family and all 3 children have been home schooled which has made things even closer than most family's.

It is amazing that whilst the target has been achieved people are still donating just truly amazing.

I can only say once again thank you to all that have supported both financially and through kind words of support. This will make a huge difference to how Chloe copes with her treatment and ensure that the family unit remains close knit through all of this.

THANK YOU

THANK YOU TO YOU ALL CANT SAY IT ENOUGH

THANK YOU TO YOU ALL CANT SAY IT ENOUGH
You don't need to say anything Ansett. I'd hope I say this for all that contributed, but it was my personal pleasure. My energies have moved on to trying to project as much positive energy as I can for the entire family. Getting the finances for the support team was stage one. Getting Chloe better is the more important, stage 2. My most genuine, best wishes for the future.

Good morning all and good luck for those of you that are having a punt on the cup today.

Finally some Good news Chloe has been awarded a courage award by the Wiltshire Pride organisation for her effort in completing her exams, although not all of them it was still an impressive effort. Her picture is number 17

On a sour note the Chemo has caused the tumor to shrink however they have discovered a second tumor has grown and is now bigger than the original one.

Back to positive it looks like Chloe will be leaving for the US on Delta on Wednesday morning to commence her treatment and it looks like the treatment will take through to Mid January to complete, at the earliest.

I shall continue to update the thread as more news comes to hand.

Thank you all again for your support and well wishes and amazing donations.

THANK YOU.

Another small update..

Chloe and Family have just been dropped off at Heathrow for the trip firstly off to Atlanta then down to Jacksonville Florida.

Emotions are mixed as one would expect however, they are all remaining positive and looking forward to returning home some time early next year as a family and all in good health.

Thank you again.

Wishing them the best and hope they have days where they get to relax and laugh as well.

Ok well Chloe and family arrived safe and sound and have been settling in. Chloe had her first Proton therapy today and seems to have recovered well from it.

I have been asked to tell you all how amazing and generous you all are they can not put the words together to show how much they appreciate all the support.

THANK YOU

Chloe has undergone here final proton treatment and looks likely to head home this weekend as long as she can complete another Chemo session. Once home she will continue with chemo.

The proton treatment is designed to kill the cancer as opposed to shrinking the tumor, which the chemo should do, the success of the proton wont be known for a further 6 to 12 months so fingers crossed there will be positive news later in the year.

Thank you all again for your support and thoughts.

Here is an update from Chloe's Mother.

Best news to start the day, best wishes to Chloe and all her families, just wonderful

Fingers crossed for the post-treatment follow ups. I remember my own 3 monthly check-ups, then half-annual, then yearly and finally the 10 year mark. But with the tumour still there and possible metastatic markers in the lungs, every trip to the follow up will have a level of trepidation. I hope she can see the positive side of the check ups. Hope she goes well with her GCSE's

Hi All

Just a small update on Chloe and her endeavours.

Chloe is doing well and has undertaken some of her exams and also doing some fund raising for the cancer charity, here is a link to a recent news article in the local paper.

Thank you again for the support that has been so kindly given.
