Oh I see...you are after a shower in Syd after your Mnl turnaround:). Want to hear your experiences of the 1.5 hours on the ground at Mnl;)

Might even qualify for a shower there-MNL?

8 hours of solubrious SC run.

May need to dilute the liver for the return journey with a shower and drink lots of water!

Thank god its at night so I can fall gracefully asleep, before a work morning in MEL followed by a long lunch at Red Spice Road-Australia's best Thai resturant

Maybe I should pack a picnic lunch from Sydney. Better still grab some goodies off the plane and sell them in the lounge!
After all this is what J is about

Towels and such are already in the showers in the SYD T3 J lounge.

Are they? My memory is admittedly a bit fuzzy but I recall asking for them at both SYD and MEL. SYD the attendant near the showers gave them to me and MEL from the front desk.
I don't use the showers in any of the home lounges very often so my experiences might be unusual.

You have to ask in the QP, but the SYD J lounge attendant will fix up the showers after use and put in fresh towels and related amenities. Perhaps you just got a shower before it could be cleaned and replenished. :?:

Yes, it's all coming back to me now
Was just off a red-eye from PER-SYD and the Lounge and showers were chockers, hence attendant handing them to me.

Every visit to ML so far has been ordinary. The terminal used by CX, QF, SQ is ordinary. Both the CX and QF lounges are very ordinary neither have a toilet let alone a shower. Food in the CX Lounge is sometimes nice but drink choices are poor. That dark beer (I think San Miguel and only one available) is not drinkable.

Don't ask me why but I will spending ~6:00 hours in transit between midnight and 6:00am in a couple of weeks. Too chicken to head off into town into uncharted territory....
