Thanks PeteJ and JessicaTam.

I am not up to date with the language all these young people use.

That's a good one penegal :p.

It comes from my training at QF a little while back, and an attempt at being iconoclastic.

Please switch me to HK, flights now booked. Accommodation yet to be booked, but who needs that anyway :D.

Good, as we have a goodly number. You'll get accommodation easily, unless there's another spill motion up on the hill and the county's journos all come flooding back in. ;)

Considering the way you guys play with those spill motions down there, that might be a risk I don't want to take :D.

Since this new code system is confusing, I'll just change my status for this event from PS to WP...

You're confused, I'm even more so :D. I put you down as 'silver' before as it seemed equivocal - now have changed you to WP as requested.

No, silver was right for before... I've spoken with the mrs and have a leave pass for dinner, thus plat is now the right status :D.

Was told of this dinner by Bundy Bear at a FlyerTalk event yesterday (I really should check AFF more often).

I live in Canberra, and need to eat. Count me in for this dinner.

I arrive back in CBR from ADL on the 10th (on my second-last JASA), but would like to attend if that's still possible?

hmmm, I'm not sure, it is a very exclusive gathering, with invitations and all...

Just kidding :-)

Of course it is possible. The more the merrier.

Rather odd that I did mention this event to 2 AFFers I met in the past few days, one who was in Perth just the other day and of course SQ421 in Brisbane on Saturday.

I looked at the event as I am heading to Canberra for the weekend a few days after but I couldn't get the schedule fit.

Have fun and I might get to a Canberra AFF event now that I will spend more time in the east.

Just reading back through the thread... when I was at Noma last weekend (sorry, just had to say that), the Adelaidean restaurant manager asked me if I'd been to Monster (I haven't).

For reference, his recommendations for Adelaide were Orana (albeit with a "very expensive" qualification), peel st, and Africola.

Would be good if you can make it. But even if you cannot, I am happy to meet up for a coffee, drink, or a meal whenever you are in town.

Goody, we're getting the best turn up in the past few years. (For some reason my subs to this thread had dropped away).
