Yet again I will snaffle all of row 1 for this ride.

Where exactly are you going to? :)

Looking forward to reading your TR - happy travels!

Firstly, I must thank everyone who offered advice...

I should also say thanks to all members who have posted TRs on Sth America; without your willingness to share information I could not have put this one together.

And a special mention to Drron for his advice on Altitude Sickness and a wonderful TR. I'll post some sunset shots just for you!

Looks like a great trip, enjoy :)

Guess I'll take row 2 then - also enjoy your TR

If @juddles doesn't want me kicking the back of his seat(s), then he'll let me also sit in row 1 :D.

OK, a compromise - you can sit on the window seat on the far right. And I will sit on the left, facing my window. But no speaking. Then I can pretend you are not there, or that you are "crew rest"

This sounds like a blockbuster! I will be interested to read about your experiences in Peru and Chile - it sounds very similar to a trip an overland trip I did 20 years ago. I am interested to know how things have changed.

This sounds like a blockbuster!

Well, in fact, it is only the first half of our QF/Oneworld Classic Award....

CFS-SYD-SCL-LIM (Stop 1)
LIM-AQP (Separate points booking)
AQP-LIM-CUZ (Separate points booking)
ARI-SCL (Separate points booking)

SCL-AKL (Stop 2)

Those who have followed our previous TRs will know that we tend to split our trips into 2 or 3 "bites". So then it's AKL-SYD-CFS on a separate revenue fare to return home for a couple of months.

We head back to AKL in October to pick up our Oneworld Award and continue on to India and Sri Lanka.

First leg today was CFS-SYD on QL2109 (Q400) and currently in the Marriott.

Now to work out how to upload photos on this new platform.:(
