CX163 (thursday 4 May 2017 1035 hours mid morning HKG down to MEL that was not airborne until 1146) should arrive at around the 2214 hours mark, 34 late: aircraft is B773ER B-KQR.

Sunday 7 May has CX162 from SYD up to HKG, the 1005 hours that took off at 1051 with A333 B-LAE likely to arrive at 1830 hours this evening, 40 minutes tardy.

During a rainy Sydney evening (Friday 19 may 2017), CX139 (B773ER B-KQD, the 0910 hours HKG - SYD that took off only about 10 minutes late (if that) at 0940 should arrive at roughly 2050 hours, 40 late, with a holding pattern to Pokolbin's west not helping timeliness.

On Sunday 21 May 2017, CX162, the 1050 hours SYD - HKG (A33 B-LAF) did not take off until 1139. Arrival is predicted for 1848 tonight, 58 minutes late.

Wednesday 25 May 2017 sees CX163, the ex-HKG 2140 hours evening arrival in MEL likely to arrive at 0003 hours on Thursday 25. B-KQL is the B773ER. The returning CX178 is predicted to depart at about 0115 instead of tonight's timetabled 2340 hours.

Due to the alleged hijacking attempt on board Wednesday 31 May 2017's MH128 (2325 hours MEL - KUL), CX178, the 2340 hours MEL - HKG took off at 0305 hours on Thursday 1 June and with B773ER B-KQT is expected to arrive at about 0947 hours, 172 minutes late.

Advice as to whether passengers had to leave airside and be screened a second time would be appreciated.

There is an article here:

http://www.australianfrequentflyer....ysia-airlines-delays-cancellations-64954.html

Subsequent to this, Victoria and Australian Federal Police are being criticised for not boarding MH128 for 90 minutes once it was on the ground back in MEL. One caller to radio 3Aw said the police must have been having an occupational health and safety meeting. Not a good look.
