The Kingo and the old Wello, sigh, lot's of memories, I had my first 'legal' drink at the Wello, they were the 'local' pubs when I was growing up. Dad used to drink at the old ex services club next to Manuka oval, so I wouldn't go there! We'd alternate between these 2 pubs and when they closed go to the Boot and Flogger in Green Square.
