I know Mrs Beano (NB) can board with me in Group 1. Sometimes if you are on the same PNR the other parties are also in the same Group. Perhaps others have more experience with this.In June i have a trip with 3 NBs, all on same PNR booked by me a WP. It will be interesting to see if we can board together.
2/3 of them are hopeless with technology if not same boarding group (I usually have their BPs on my phone) then I am going to have to insist the lounge print BPs for them so i can board first to get bin space.
It's been consistent(!) for me that being on the same booking gives them group 1 also - as advertised when they started group boarding.I know Mrs Beano (NB) can board with me in Group 1. Slightly off topic but related - I recently boarded JL507 in HND bound for CTS with Mr Sest 0A on the same PNR. Both travelling business. I’m OWE (QF WP) while he is only LTG. Groups were called to board one by one. I was Group 1 he was Group 2 and it was enforced thst he could not board with me. I went ahead in my group because I wanted to be sure of getting luggage space in the overhead locker as many Japanese travel HLO.
We were allowed to board QF 25 together departing SYD ( both allocated Group 1 on our BP).
You will - the boarding group of the highest status pax on the booking will be granted to the others. In June i have a trip with 3 NBs, all on same PNR booked by me a WP. It will be interesting to see if we can board together.

Has always been my experience as well. You will - the boarding group of the highest status pax on the booking will be granted to the others.
Same here. We had separate bookings and my companion had group 4. They were linked at the lounge and she was bumped into group 1. On the return leg, I was able to check us both in through my booking and we had the same boarding group. On the one occasion where we we on separate bookings, it was "linked" in the lounge and a refresh later provided the bump from group 6 to 1.

His BP definitely said Group 2. I was also a bit surprised.Interesting. Last year I was BA gold and Mrsdrron LTG on QF. On our 12 JL flights taken since she dropped to LTG, including HND-CTS-HND in J, she was always in group 1 with me.
Yes, me too on Qantas flights. That’s why I was a bit surprised that the same approach did not extend to JAL flight. The JAL HND-CTS was on the same PNR as QF25 SYD-HND and we were both on the same PNR for all flights.Has always been my experience as well.
