Flexicon isn't too bad. I can normally solve a puzzle in between 5 and 10 minutes. Chicktionary/Word Slugger/Spelling bee are all easy if you use a scrabble type solver, but I'm concerned that doing them too quickly may flag your account for "cheating".

The Matt Lauer game is definately the easiest of the lot, it's a pity it doesn't have many games.

Might want to rethink that in light of the change back to 1000:330 points...

Yes..I noted that this morning too:(
I read this string first....and then read the Amex string to learn the bad news.......

(Note for those that don't yet know..evidently the doubling was a typo...though AMEX will honour it to Sept...but back to 330 after that).

Is this where you have to correctly identify the 5 fuzzy characters that appear on the screen in order to continue? I don't always get it correct on the 1st or 2nd tries.

Hopefully it will all have been worthwhile when I redeem a Oneworld RTW award with AA points....

Yes those (see CAPTCHA - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia). Some of them are quite difficult to make out.

And I thought it was just my eyesight. I just ignore some of them and click on submit to get another one.

Well, as previously stated in this thread, points.com is a very expeditious way of creating account activity (thx to whoever mentioned it).

For the record, I registered with points.com late on Thursday night, a confirmation e-mail arrived from points.com at 01:30 this morning, and I just checked my AA miles balance and the 10 miles have been credited, and my miles are alive for another 18 months!

Which is just as well, as I received a response to my attempt to rectify the error I made that I referred to in a previous post in this thread, where I gave the QF checkin man an incorrect AA number (reversed a couple of letters in it). Upon my return home after being away a couple of weeks there was a letter (snail mail) awaiting me from AA dated 1st April (!) informing me politely that QF reckons that "credit was earned either in its Frequent Flyer program or in another carrier's frequent traveler program" for the flight in question, and that I really should not try and double dip, as it's not allowed.

The miles may well have credited to an AA account, it just wasn't to my account! Which is what I explained on the phone (not well enough, apparently). Ah well, now that my miles balance is alive for another 18 months there's no pressing urgency in pursuing those 500 miles...(though I still will do so).

Of course, the moral of this particular story is give them the correct number in the first case (copy of AAdvantage number going into wallet shortly)!!

If it is any consolation, the points have not been creditted to my account :)

That is a standard form letter/postcard. Do perservere. It should not have been credited to anothber AAdv account as the name on the account would not match (or there's one heck of a coincidence).

Not the cheapest activity (ie not free) but inexpensive and in aid of a good cause...
Honor a mom or any woman in your life this Mother's Day by donating to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure®. Not only will you be supporting a great cause, but you will also earn 5 AAdvantage miles for every $1 donated.

American is proud to support Susan G. Komen for the Cure® – the largest private funding source of research solely dedicated to breast cancer. You can also join the quest to save lives and end breast cancer forever by making a donation. Click here to donate online and to learn more about the Miles for the CureTM program.
(Hopefully I've successfully replaced the link with a generic one.)

Offer open until May 31st.

Richard.

Does this still work for redemptions. I don't see Frequent Flyer miles anymore as a redemption option?

Has gone missing at the moment, but expect it to return. It's disappeared a couple of times before due to system issues and each time returned a few days later.

Microsoft might end the program at any stage though.

Frequent flyer mile redemptions appear to be back on the list of prizes. Could be time to make the next redemption in case they disappear....

Redemptions are working again. Just redeemed for another 5K AA.

Is anyone still doing this? Can you win tickets and put them in your spouse's account or do you have to set up an account for you and one for your spouse? Do the transfers to AA go through smoothly?

Havn't redeemed points for a little while, but things are still running fine over there. Occasionally the system drops the FF points off the 'prizes' table, but they return.

You should probably have a quick look through this FT thread - Live Search Club -earn up to 2500 miles on various airlines - FlyerTalk Forums (also posted above by Futaris) Basically everything you would want to know (and even stuff you probably don't want to know!) about the promo.

OMG, that thread is even longer than the Amex thread!

I've been playing Matt Lauer, it's really easy but the occasional image verification thingy is a PITA. I may use this little game to keep my husband's account equal to mine in AA miles since the credit cards and SPG account is in my name. We don't need the award seats until Sep 2010 so we have some time.
