I'm sick of waiting for the estore points to credit, they are all 'pending' in my account so I emailed VA. Apparently, to credit the points, VA want proof of purchase. Shouldn't they be able to take their own pending records instead of asking me for proof?

Surely, having these post to the velocity account isn't critical to receiving the bonus?

An estore purchase makes up one of the 5 required. Isn’t it? If you meant to say that a pending is the same as a credit, well I don’t know about that.

In my experience not all pendings are equal. I’m gonna be safe. I never check that estore points are credited, except this one time when 10K is at stake.

Yes, but you've made the store purchase as evidenced by its "points pending" status.

Just got emails from estore to say my Velocity points are on their way - yea hah

Yep, I also just received an email from velocity saying my estore points will now be credited in 24h.

This after last night making another estore purchase just..in..case..

I was under the impression that any points pending even a day before the end of the promo would still be eligible? My menulog, apple and David Jones purchases typically take a month to clear from pending.

Almost all transactions from the e-store take 31 days to credit. The activity date will show the date you actually purchased. Relax I say!

I have come late to the party but I am getting the hang of it.. red bucket purchased AND collected !

BP fuel in the tank.

Now to knock over the other partners in the race to the finish line on the 8th January. It’s kinda fun to do as well as a good earn.

anyone know if flybuy transfers from a family will count? Ive look on the terms and conditions page and cant see anything against this!
Do you mean use a family members Flybuys to purchase Velocity points for someone? I hadn’t thought of that...
Flybuys is the last purchase for my sons account, waiting on some bonus points that are taking forever, 2000 for linking eBay and Flybuys.

I was thinking of linking an existing flybuys account to another family member and crediting points to velocity as we're only allowed to have one flybuys account per household

Don’t the account names have to match? My flybuys account was in my shortened first name originally, and I had to change it to match my velocity account before I could link them.

Yes all the details have to be identical including first and last name, address and DOB

I received the following email from David Jones today (for my Jelly Beans):

Dear Aus ATC
Just a reminder that your order is ready to be collected in store.
Please note: if your order is not collected within the next 14 days your order will be cancelled.

As I am unlikely to get to the DJ store, it looks like another eStore purchase will be needed for insurance - a donation to Starlight foundation will do nicely. I wonder if they only credit VFF points for collected items (and if I will get a refund for the cancelled order).

I’d say a cancelled order means no VA points and a refund, eventually. What about something cheap from eBay? A few people bought travellers nail files (no metal) for ~ $2.50 delivered. I posted a link up thread. And, that definitely qualifies - buy through the estore.

My Wilson seems to be taking longer than average (three days since booking so far).
