Sounds like good fun, I'm in!
12 December works for me at this stage.

All, I'm thinking of getting the BAM out for Christmas Drinks.
Only known fact at present, Sydney Terminal (Central) as a starting point.
Just want to see if anyone interested? (will make it a bit shorter than the 14 hours drinking is was last year)
Cheers
Matt

Divided by a common language. What's a BAM?

Ok, those pictures do look semi interesting... :)

I'm taking it not everyone in that collection were members of AFF???

Looks like a Great Trip planned BAM1748 !

Will watch with interest as to the chosen date!

We enjoyed last year, and interested again

Doh, must have missed the flickr link on page 2 - sorry about that. Thanks, serfty, for the link to the previous BAM event.

Wow, that looks amazing! I love trains and would definitely be interested in participating.
Did I mention how amazing that looks?

(btw, how do I "like" a thread? Is that the same as rating a thread?)

After a great event last year, please add me to the list again for this year :)

Definitely, positively dead keen! Looking forward to details.

All, it's not locked in as yet but might be Friday 19th December. Would not leave Sydney before 10am (would you believe there is actually a curfew on weekdays), we'll take the main line direct rather than via Wollongong as we did last year. Arrival into Canberra at 6pm as I think we should stick with a one year traddition of a stop at the Loaded Dog.

Matt

Work Christmas party on the 19th, then Melbourne on the 20th :-|

Very tempting, although may clash with a client Christmas party...

I shall watch the thread for final confirmation.
