Pierre as I posted totally up to individual - dealing with Citi not a problem for 'grown ups' - yes they can be challenging but that is life - 70K puts for $149 a no brainer IMHO - but we aare all different and no compulsion on anybody to apply.

After all that - here is a link that appears to work:

Qantas

I'll give it a go this afternoon, making sure to screen shot everything, and we'll see how we go.

I used this link yesterday and had no issues. Uploaded my payslips and ID through the online upload system, received a call this morning to confirm a few details and got the congratulations email this afternoon. No info on any e-mails regarding the bonus points so I have taken screen shots just in case.

Hi Jewies, did you notice if it gave you the option to opt into Qantas rewards on the last page? When I used the link it only offered Citi rewards despite indicating I was applying for Qantas throughout the rest of the process. As a result there was no opportunity to submit my ff number so I pulled out of the process.

Pierre

It never asked for it! I was concerned too but then in the t&c's of the offer it stated that you submit your FF number upon activation as that is when you sign up for the rewards program and get charged the extra $49. We will see!

Here is the spiel: Account Holders need to provide their Qantas Frequent Flyer membership number to Citi to earn Qantas Points. An additional annual fee of $49 will apply to join the Citi Qantas Rewards program. You will be automatically opted into the Citi Qantas Rewards Program once you provide your Qantas Frequent Flyer number upon activation. Bonus Qantas Points will ordinarily be credited within 6 - 8 weeks of meeting spend criteria.

Hello All
It says this card is for new cardholders only.
I happily ran my whole business through my Citibank Signature until their introduction of points capping. I still have this card and was wondering if anyone has any experience about closing it and reapplying for the bonus? How long do I need to wait, one month, 12 months?
I know they're a pain to deal with but 70k points for $149 is a bargain.
Thanks.

I'll be all over this like a cheap suit - I just love plucking sign on bonii from Citi - and regardless what others say I would prefer to view dealing with Citi as 'an interesting challenge'!

I'm with u on that one as well love giving Citibank a serve now and then.
And if im not happy just close the account.
Works for me

Despite the issues noted here, I decided to apply for this card. Only interesting part so far is that there is a 3rd step - Give your authority to payroll which I haven't seen with any other application. I have given them my manager's contact.

My card has been provisionally approved without my payroll department being contacted. Which is probably a good thing as the payroll manager is my direct report.

Applied as well, found several offers for this card when googling for a working link, all with different points and spending requirements. What a mess.

Didnt see any 3rd step for Payroll approval but havent heard anything back since applying. The conformation email states 8-10 business days though.

It was on the email I received. Just received a verification call from them - going to their decisioning team now apparently. First bank to contact me for any credit card application.

Can someone remind me what the minimum income is for the Signature? I know its here somewhere but I just can't see it.

I received my card yesterday and activated it, no sign of anywhere to enter my qff number. Called and asked and he said he would enrol me in the Qantas program because all Citi signature cards come enrolled to their own rewards program automatically?

Queried this and he assured me that this was all normal and I would get my 70k points upon first spend. This worried me again, he obviously had no idea about the t&c's of my card. I guess we will have to wait and see.
