Such Such a pity that the same deal at wool worths is ten times better.
At woolies you can use 5% off ecarda. You get the bonus points off the next purchase. You don't have to convert to points. You can use your points for gift card purchase.

Woollies all the way for me.....

Although its low volume, why turn down free money? FBs are easy to cash out to money-off shop but many AFFers would choose to arbitrage to a better value with VA/EY miles

Totally agree. I will be taking advantage of that deal. However with a limit of 1 per person. It's better than nothing. However I would love to have it unlimited so I can stock up on them.
I only have 2 more family members on flybys so ill be using their cards as well.
I was able to get multiple cards under my own name with the woollies card too.:)

The single card offers have frequently preceded the targeted unlimited ones by a week or two. Fingers crossed

Edit: on reflection this was only with the Coles Gift Mastercards not Visa

Fingers crossed it will be my first time ever to be invited to such an offer!

I can confirm its one per household as per usual,

how disappoiting!

So if Flybuys is linked..... Does that mean one per card or linked account?
Can I put the number of a linked card in and get the bonus?

One per account. I don't see any benefit in linking cards to one account

Sorry I know this has been discussed not only recently but throughout this thread...however Im getting myself confused with accounts / households / linked etc...
So as below, I have my own unique flybuys number as does my partner...however any activity ends up in the same account.

Does this mean are flybuy accounts are linked?
Thus offers like the one currently being discussed...means we would only be eligible for the bonus points ONCE

Sorry for the repetition

If you credit to the same account you are linked and will only receive one offer
I'd suggest setting up another account. I stopped using the duplicated card as I didn't want to be accused of gaming

Got eh visa 1, scanned flybuys......paid amex.....3 hours later used visa 1....not showing in flybuys account 2K in points?

Edit: Bugger got the $50 when u can get the $100 and get bonus....just read :(

Usually takes 24 hours to show in the flybuys account.

And just a reminder that you aren't supposed to use the only one visa for 24 hours after purchase.

Plenty of people have got burnt by failing to follow this clear instruction:

Only 1 Gift Card Reviews - ProductReview.com.au

Why risk something going wrong by failing to follow the clearly set out terms? The result is it causes you a hassle!

I read those terms and conditions a while back and was mortified.

You're not allowed to even check your balance on them or they could be voided according to the t and cs

My last batch I used in an hour.
Given the problem solving you and others have had recently. I'd rather use them quicker
Not sure if using them within the hour can forfeit your bonus points

I had no idea so many people have problems with them. Then again I only use them online as I don't like having to sign. I guess those with expired/broken cards are the ones subsidising the rest of us who are extracting every cent out of these cards.

I think some people simply don't understand how these cards work. I.E. they expect a PIN to be provided and don't know what to do when it isn't provided. But with such a large number of very negative responses one has to take some notice. As I have indicated previously there are valid security concerns around these cards.

I bought one buy don't have the bonus yet. However, in my FB account it invites me to activate. Have other ppl activated before purchase, I haven't done that on previous offers.

I received the email about this and activated the offer after I'd made the purchase. It wont make any difference though as it was a general offer advertised in the catalogue.

I received the email after buying too but am confident of the points as the offer was advertised on the GC stand as well as catalogue (though would have bought $100 instead of $50 after reading T&Cs more carefully)
