Coles gift card offers

I received the email after buying too but am confident of the points as the offer was advertised on the GC stand as well as catalogue (though would have bought $100 instead of $50 after reading T&Cs more carefully)

Isn't the 2000 points payable for all only one gift cards?

Yes. Coles only sell $50 and $100 cards ($200 cards can be bought at Officeworks).

$50 card offers the best value in terms of return on spend.

2000 flybuys now in my account after purchasing a $50 Only 1 VISA card on 21/6/2017. If it helps anyone, I activated the offer after buying the card and got the points as I expected I would because this was a general offering. No idea why they sent the link via email which suggested you needed to activate before purchase.

The terms and conditions of the "targeted" offer is not actually targeted. Read the T&C's and you will see that you dont actually need to "activate" anything, the t&c are different to usual real targeted offers.

I'm going to take a guess that its purely for data: See how many people activate the offer before purchase versus how many people just buy it in-store without activating.

Also got the points the next day on the four accounts in our household. Some had activated the offer, some not, like we already know it makes no difference.

The Coles I purchased them at had their self-service checkout software updated, so based on what I've read of others who have use them, I expected it would not allow me to pay with an eGiftCard. But they worked fine. I'll have to try using FB$ next time to see if that also still works. The only issue I encountered was when I tried to split the payment, it said I had to do it at the Service Desk, which I did and it worked there. Both the self-service assistant and supervisor had no issues with me using an eGiftCard.

One thing I did notice was that I didn't need staff member intervention to approve the cards, just a prompt to place the card aside and another to write the expiry, which there is no need for. Though this was after they had scanned their logon tag to try get the split payment working for the first card I bought, so maybe that had some affect, but there were 3 separate transactions on that machine. The hardest part was juggling around the four flybuys cards to make sure I didn't double scan or miss one.

Nope, gift cards are excluded from points multipliers

I received a targeted 2000 points for visa1 and playstation card purchase over $30 offer - nowhere in the T&C's does it mentioned limit to one per household/account... am I missing something?

If you mean the offer that arrived last week and ends this Tuesday (27/6) then it's not targeted. It is a general offer. Limit one per membership. The one emailed to me states very clearly:

'BONUS POINTS can only be collected once per flybuys household. flybuys' privacy policy applies'

If you have something different you should share it here.

Shows in my T&Cs: "BONUS POINTS can only be collected once per flybuys household." - Have a look again
