I thought the restriction you describe had been around a whileI’m sorry to report that it appears the IT kids who “enhanced” the checkout process at the big green apple last year, may have been hired by their rival.
It’s only a single data point and only for the purchase of a physical GC from the retailer’s own range.
I’m yet to try purchasing a Visa or MC issued card or a third party card such as Rebel etc.
If confirmed, the number of gift cards I buy as gifts for family and friends will be Down Down!
I don't buy this particular style of GC very often - so you may well be correct.I thought the restriction you describe had been around a while

And it wouldn't be the first occasion on which I'm behind the times.

Still, it makes me wonder what result I'll get when the next offer rolls around for Only1, CGCMC, or a third-party card.

I use only 1 VISA for DEFT. No issues. If you make micro payments there are no fees. This isn't the ideal place to post this question, but has anyone had recent experience with using prepaid cards - in particular the vanilla visa $250 cards - to pay bills using DEFT? Understand there's a fee, mainly wanting to know if the cards work or not.
Thanks. Went ahead and bought a vanilla visa and just made the deft payment successfully; though I incurred the 1.5% fee as I used the full card balance.I use only 1 VISA for DEFT. No issues. If you make micro payments there are no fees.

Exactly which card are you asking about? This thread is about Coles gift card offers - so there are many gift cards that Coles offers. What is the best discount that I can get on say $60,000 of these gift cards and will they take an Amex credit card payment?
Who should be my supplier?
