Coles gift card offers

Still can't make my first purchase!
Every time I get "Transaction failed, please contact customer service."
Try only purchasing 1 card. Some banks are blocking the transactions thinking fraud is occuring. Eg St George card worked for me, but NAB blocked each time.

So anyone worked out how to make a second purchase? Have 4 adults in household and only managed to make 2 the entire day. Have $17k Land Tax, $10k ATO bill to pay :(

I have purchased $20K so far (8 batches), and will do a few more - This beats the running around to Coles and getting questioned when trying to buy 5, when that offer comes twice a year.

I managed to get 3 x $2.5K on my first attempt with the same Amex card but using different a different name/address/email address.

Trying to get the 4th batch I was blocked.

Used my work computer (which uses a VPN 100% of the time) and managed to get another 2 batches

Managed 3 more batches on my home computer just now, but used another credit card

Reading the OzBargain comments, I can't work out why/when/how they block a transaction

Okay, so I manged 1 more transaction after 4 failed attempts

Browser and IP address seems to be the main verification points....

So easy solution, connect to your phones hotspot instead of your normal connection.......

I think I'll call it quits at this point, $22,500 is enough to cover some ATO debt, body corp and council rates

Wondering, if paying the ATO a big tax bill just with prepaid cc gift card, is there is there some risk to be somehow flag / in troubled at some point?

Dr Ralph, can I get the points if I buy more than 5 cards?

Not unless you have more than 1 account. 5 cards per Flybuys account.

Can the physical card use in WWS / Bunnings / JBHIFI etc in store?
Normally it shouldn't be an issue to use the physical card in store. You will probably need to sign for the transaction.

If it's a public super fund which super fund accepts personal contributions with a CC would you mind sharing the name please?

I got blocked a few times yesterday . CS advised me that one needs to use card that required verification code sent by text .

My virgin money and citi premier do send txt msg verification. I could use them several times, I hope I can continue over the week end.

My blocker is ATO which seems to allow only a number of credit card transaction per day (or maybe hours, trying to work that out, if someone knows exactly the timing to follow let me know please ...) I am not too keen to buy too many GC without capacity to use them imediatly.

10 per day on Business Portal & 5 per day on payATO portal.
Aaarrrr that's too slow. Been trying to find some way to use those cards faster with ATO. I found helppay, but it takes $5 for a $250 and eat some of the profit,. It worked, wondering if someone has better way to use those cards faster to the ATO. Sniip doesnt let me pay with the gift card for ATO. The other payment method seems to be for business. Yea I have an ABN but not running any business on it, so not sure it would be a smart move using it for say pay.com.au.

They're still selling the cards so they obviously haven't "run out". Why bother running a promo if you don't actually want to sell the product?

Do these payment sites allow payment to a bank account or do you need bpay details? Can you simply pay yourself I guess is what I’m asking.
