Just get another flybuys account. While I haven’t experienced the same increases as other people report (infact little or no change despite buying tens of thousands of dollars worth), I have other accounts that are used only for gift cards.

I'm buying $100 Visa GC this week spread out of 3 separate days, each transaction just the $100. Then interspersed with normal shopping of $60-70 on both accounts. We will finish the Spend X promo this week, next week I will get 1 Uber card on each account and shop at Woolies.

I anticipate the next Spend X promo will be from 29 Sep-29 Oct and I am away that last week so not sure I can do it even if the target goes up. Still trying to figure out how to order while overseas and have it delivered during the appropriate days.

For gift cards? Which retailer did you buy them from, Officeworks?

I checked ozbargain's FAQ, they don't pay out for coles group related giftcards. But they do for Ulimate series.

Either/or. It's per account.

There's no "Points would only be awarded on the first transaction for that day" exclusion that you get at WOW sometimes (eg Perfect GC's).

BIN attacks, usually. They brute-force card number, expiry and CVV combinations. Prepaid Visa/Mastercard gift cards have very unsophisticated security measures unlike normal bank cards.

I believe a lot the information is identical from card to card within a batch (ie half the 16 card digits and the expiry date). Then a script/bot program is run to "force" the remaining information. Then a transaction is made via a website or terminal that doesn't require the CVV.

How does one work around linking to a Velocity account across multiple FB accounts to transfer the points? Whenever I've tried this it gives me an error, which I assume is related to the velocity account number already being linked.

The names have to match. Transfer into velicity then transfer between accounts

You can't.

But family pooling could be your friend.
