Coles gift card offers

Whenever an offer like this comes along I’ll buy up a bunch of cards with the credit card, convert them to Uber cash and make my Uber purchases. No points are earned on Uber eats but the bonus points are earned by purchasing the gift cards, in this case $50 TCN shop card ears 1000 flybuys or 500 velocity points.

On occasion I’ll exhaust my Uber cash balance and pay for my Uber orders with the debit card. Uber allows for up to 30 days to convert transactions on the original payment method to any other payment method, eg, another credit/debit card or Uber cash.

You click on the order, view receipt and then scroll to the bottom which has the option to switch payment method. Will allow you to switch the payment method of any order that was processed within 30 days.
Figure this makes sense if you are doing enough volume with Uber, but for me it would have to be quite a large $$$. Wonder if high enough volume would get attention from Uber (not that they would care if they're still getting fees). Frustrating that in AU there are far fewer liquidation methods for gift cards than in the US.

Well I can’t cook so save myself and the kitchen gets used about as much as a hair comb and I’m bald… Now if only there was a way to add those prepaid visa and Mastercards into the Apple wallet and then empty the balance into a Revolut account!

The only thing more certain is an argument with the attendant about 5 cards per person/account.

I had one last week for the Google Play cards......

Luckily at my local most of the Managers know me and don't question me at all now

Oh and it's been almost a year since the 10% off offer on these cards, I think the 4,000 points offer will be the best we will get but then again 4000 Flybuys = 2000 VFF = 1290 SQ = $35....

I read on Ozbargain that buying the Mastercard giftcards stuffed up people's $50x4 weeks = 10000points.
i.e. the gift card purchase counted towards Flybuys activity.
