Not specifically but stocking the shelves is not high on their agenda either. I have no qualms having a rummage behind the display. Ask them to help you if you get questioned.

Often the gift cards are stocked and restocked by merchandisers who visit the store, if you look closely there are often boxes stored in the area immediately behind where they are on display in a kind of secret cupboard

Plenty of $250's in the three stores I visited and one store had exactly eight $100's. Staff at that store flat out refused to sell more than 5 cards to me this morning. No correspondence entered into and no acknowledgment of the printed T&Cs other than 5 cards max per account.

It's no wonder dudes resort to hiding or taking them prior to the sale period.

Best time to go if facing that kind of blocking is when the youngsters are on the after school shift. I managed 2 x 5 easily today, but I picked my cashier wisely. (Granted, I am in a regional town and have the luxury of well stocked cards for pretty much all weekly offers.)

Found plenty in west Gippsland this arvo. The cashier was proactive in telling me she would process two and then three in separate transaction, as "the register has problems with five at once".

I was up early at 6am (still on Fiji time having arrived back yesterday) and was out early looking for the $100 Coles MCs...first store had 7 so I bought all of them. 2nd and 3rd store had nada but the 4th store had about 20. Bought 5 more, then went back to buy another 5 more...unfortunately the store was very quiet and I had to use the self checkout necessitating calling the same supervisor...she cancelled my 5 cards stating Coles had a policy of 5 GCs per day..whatever

Came back later in pm with +1 after she had long gone home, the store had restocked since am, and bought another 8 more...so all up bought 20x $100 Coles MCs over 4 FB accts...just enough to pay off an ATO bill and earn a bonus 20000 Velocity pts for $100! + 6300 Amex points ( = 3150 Velocity pts) for paying with an Amex Edge card....more fun than working.

Has anyone else had trouble with points from the latest offer post? I bought 2 x 5 cards immediately after each other. One lot haven't come through at all, the other lot only the base points for the purchase of the cards has come through, no bonus points.

This has been happening a lot lately with Coles promotions. The rest of the bonus points will likely arrive tomorrow afternoon.

Same, I fully expect bonus points to drop tomorrow.
Coles has a dial up internet speed when comes to bonus card point offers.

I have base points only at this stage.

Correction, I've checked my receipts and it appears one of the accounts didn't register when I scanned the FlyBuys card. Am I correct in thinking a phone call won't help to get the card added to the transaction to claim the missing base + bonus points?

I've heard you can go back to the store if you forgot to swipe your flybuys card and they can do it. But never tried this out myself. Receipt in hand.

Picked up my 3rd batch of 5 $100 on way home tonight. At a store that had zero on the Wednesday morning. So they do get restocked.

That's my quota, rates & shopping covered for couple weeks, 15k velocity points to boot.

Coles MC still works for ATO but no longer works for Medibank Priv premiums...someone has reported similar problem on OzB...so mercant acceptance can and do change!

Same experience nil stock 0800am Wednesday, nothing on shelves Friday morning. Enquired with the friendly Coles lady, who checked a new box that had arrived and came back with 5 cards.

Never trust what they say. They're wrong more often than they're right. I've done this at least half a dozen times and never had any issues receiving the bonus points.
