Collecting QFF points on an Emirates flight

I booked my return flight on Emirates in September 2012. Can I claim my points as Qantas points or do I have to join an Emirates program to claim them? Am flying in May to Manchester through Dubai.

You can add your Qantas Frequent Flyer number to the booking, as Emirates are now an earning partner, regardless of when the travel was actually booked. You will earn points, but not status credits if your flights have an EK code. :)
