There is no potential for earning. It is an award.

the slider payment option was mentioned in the outrageous award cost thread.

yes I see that from the screenshots. From the earlier post I thought *maybe* it may have come up as a "points" amount for the fare (ie: ASA) rather than a reward seat cost. So no points or SC but... with that value woot!

Oh! I did a heap of searches, there was some availability BNE-NRT. Trying to remember the dates, fairly sure of Sept 6th and Sept 8th and possibly Sept 12 or 13? This is for J, but please don't quote me, mind is frazzled after 300+ searches.

Whereas NRT-BRI was almost impossible in J for Sept/Oct. I finally found 1 as I was nearing the end of my tether. Good Luck!

P.S.- there is plenty Y availability for those interested and its still a good deal in Y

Is there availability via SYD on the QF25 SYD/HND or only on QF61 BNE/NRT?

Lasted longer than I thought considering it was published here, on Facebook and OzBargain. Thanks again Trixydoza :)

Nothing to do with their systems, it's got to do with the people using and entering the data into systems.

Which is, of course, all part of IT. Anyway, there's a definite disconnect given that it was showing 60,000 for one way of booking it and 24,000 another. In a well-designed system that shouldn't be possible.

But on the "people" note, wonder if it was a loophole for a friend originally?

Someone on OzBargain reporting that QF contacted them informing of glitch was given option of paying correct points or cancelling booking.

Just got a call from QFF saying there was a glitch and that they are cancelling the booking and refunding the points unless I am ok being charged the actual rate. Ended up cancelling. BTW it never went to ticketing so I suspect others who haven't been ticketed will be getting calls too.

Friggin OzBargain stuffing it up for the rest of us (I will admit I browse it every so often but 'mistakes' shouldn't be allowed I say). At least AFF got a good few days head start on it :)

I wonder if said person is stirring the pot or if they had not had their booking ticketed yet. (*edit* says in the OB post "BTW it never went to ticketing so I suspect others who haven't been ticketed will be getting calls too.")

I'll prepare the popcorn in anticipation :)

The OzBargain post referred to AFF, so whoever it is, please desist. Maybe only members who sign up who are perhaps showing some loyalty to AFF should see certain threads.

Hope QFF honours this just like the mistake fare to LAX last year. At least they could share some of their latest profit windfall with their loyal flyers so if they have to call, hope they are selective on who they actually call (hope it's the person who posted on Ozbargain).:-|
My first ever mistake fare, normally I would have missed this due to work but as it turns out, lying in bed recovering from surgery does have its side benefits!

How can one confirm whether the ticket has been issued or not?
