Indeed, I get the impression Aussies are too busy emptying supermarket shelves to go on holiday!
cheers skip

Not at the supermarkets I frequent. And at Costco, when don't shoppers here have full trollies?

I think it is more that hand sanitiser has a run on.

While, obviously very anecdotal, I can tell you that in my part of Perth it is now a hassle riding on some of the bike paths that were barely used before. The last 2 times we have been out I have had to dodge more people on these paths than the total number of people I have seen on them in about 20 rides before the virus.

I went for my 45 minute ride starting at 6.15am and it is very quiet around Rossmoyne, Shelley and Riverton. It gets busier later so I go early just as it is getting light enough.
i would rather not hit a dog nor run over a snake.

Anyone ideas on what to do with all these extra plastic bags from shopping ?.
We have used our own bags for some years now however with home delivery we are getting a stack of them

I've put them in a big garbage bag, the plan is to red recycle them in a couple of months.

I'm not reusing/touching them after delivery.

You did the smart thing. The one time I found medium grain there were either 1kg or 10kg bags and I thought we don’t need that much, better get 1kg now and buy more later, leave the 10kg for bigger families. Since then I couldn’t find any more but it’s ok, can always eat potatoes instead. Live like the Irish :)

Living with an Irish vegetarian never a truer thing been said...... can't escape rice or potatoes here ;)

That Shelley foreshore is really busy after about 08:00. I have a few snakes on my rides near the Kent St Weir. We were left home at about 08:15 and rode along the bike path next to Roe Hwy near Jandakot Airport. We then curled past the Melville Glades Golf Course towards home.

Well being home all the time turns one's mind to cookery. I've been baking up a storm as we have been working heaps in the garden and it's nice to have a little something with a cuppa. I'm getting as fat as a trout! I've just bought online some Pilates equipment and yoga mats and we will be doing some online routines. I even read that 10BX is making a comeback - remember them?

In atomic physics, the noble metal group consists of copper, silver, and gold. Only these three elements have completely filled d-subshells

My Coles has clearly been doing some panic stocking; I've never seen so many boxes of crackers! They line the floor then entire length of the deli, and are piled high in the bakery area and front entrance as well 😂

Managed to finally get disinfectant. Not a lot of choices but something was better than nothing.

Aksherley roof_lyer… I have not a freakin clue what the terms mean.
I know about storms in D cups.. and even once had a strong interest in other things in d cups… but d sub shells… beats me…is this an artillery discussion ?
I always understood copper to be a noble metal, but when I looked today there are a lot of differing opinions about nobility.
Copper is good stuff tho, good for church roofs, good for water pipes and , as a sulphate , keeps a drug resistant bug from killing one of my nags
