Hnl sounds like a plan for us too! :D

Late to thread:
Other likes: Genuine Belgian Stella Artois, not the AU bottled stuff; the Korean bulgogi is great; the cuts of meat are excellent quality, the fruit and veges seem export quality, fresher than supermarkets.
Likewise we spend $400-600 every visit. Really close for us, just over the Bolte Bridge.
Their customer satisfaction guarantee works as well as they claim.

Love the Speedy Berries - go well in the Nutribullet smoothies.

They have Poppycock in big canisters - yum.
Big boxes of sachets of "Swiss Miss" drinking chocolate.

Catering assistance - we've pre-ordered their sandwiches and buffalo wings when I've had to cater for Owners Corporation Christmas functions: very handy.

I always seem to find bagels in my trolley.

We vary our shopping between the Casula and Auburn stores although we have been known to go for a drive and have called into the Canberra store. I hate the Auburn store but it's near MrNatalies work. I like the parking layout at Casula and have filled up with fuel once or twice there.

Plus a cheeky cup of soft serve icecream always seems to reduce my angst if lots of other people have been there at the same time.

I really want to try one of their Sundaes...we do like the pizza slices for a quick lunch on the way out.

Are those suits in Australia? Got a new pair of trousers last week for $170. Turns out they are really, really, really, really uncomfortable and will probably be chucked. I would've much preferred to buy a suit for $200.

Was that a halal certificate on the bottom of the wrapper I could see?..
All meat purchased by Costco comes from 'Halal Certified' processing plants. Once meat is in Costco chillers cryovaced bulk primals such as fillet / scotch / rump / porterhouse / roasts etc do indeed have Halal notations.

However Costco do break down a lot of larger sections such as their chops / small number steaks also - this is done in a breaking room where pork is also handled - NEVER on same tables but definitely in same room. I would suggest anybody requiring clarification or further info just go ask the meat section and you can make meaningful decisions from there - they will even show you where / how they handle the meat.

Very nice loin chops! Best I've had in years.

Do they have the Kirkland chocolate coated macadamias? I have them in the best of the best at Costco Marina del Rey and Salt Lake City.
I could only find these ones cove:

But it then again I don't get out much so maybe they are over the odds - I'll let you guys be the judge.

I am carrying the home brand Kirkland chocolate coated macadamias in my luggage from the US along with Sees 2 pound deal and some Godiva chocolates for the staff. Heavy bags tonight.

Anyone done Costco in HNL ?? :-)

Yes. Been to the one at Iwilei in HNL. We were staying at Hilton Waikiki Beach (Prince Kuhio in a former life) and there is a bus stop across the street.

From memory we got the nbr 19 bus which says "Airport/Hickam". We first went to Ala Moana shopping center to the Paradise Cafe in the food court as they make yummy turkey melts before we continued on.
