I'm a maybe for the Stamford and even for the event at this stage.

Watch out for the Qantas photographer - he just backed into me spilling my wine all over me.

So I'm the guy in the black suit smelling like a wino.

I think there may have been some confusion about what hotel was the Stamford. You can spot frogggeradl and me in the corner of the art gallery tapping away on our phones. Very rude :)

So far epiqure, Jetstar awards and Emirates partnership.

They're sorry about Singapore, "fixing Europe first". Will resolve when 787's come into service (presumably Jetstar).

Doubling the size of the first lounge in LAX - opening next year, trebling Business opening October. Issues with the airport owner have held this up for a long time.

Lol. Look for the people tapping on their phones. :)

I think the message was given loud and clear.

There were most of the team there: http://qantasloyalty.com/connect/our-people/

I spoke with Justin briefly just before security kicked us out. He heard the message clearly throughout the evening. I gave him my idea of allowing Platinum and above the ability to request an upgrade on any fare class internationally. A good idea I heard was the option for people to donate FF points to a charity that flies Qantas a lot (there was one mentioned). Forgot to mention my "bring back SFO" gripe but think he was a bit punch-drunk at this stage.

Something I was disappointed about was mentioned by a couple of the QFF reps how rarely they visited Adelaide and sampled the local experience first hand.

Also confirmed 787-800's are Jetstar. Sometime "in the next few years" the -900 will come to Qantas and potentially support more routes out of Adelaide. The 767 is being retired and a 737 won't do the distance (at least none of the current QF metal).
