Would be interested to know the process of decision making. Do they all get in a room debate it and then go away and make a decision independently or are they not allowed to discuss it at all? @Anna

They will need to have some sort of discussion about what they each want the outcome to be, and whether it is unanimous. But they might all write separate reasons for their decision.

True. Such people/celebrities with such wealth/profile normally have a direct line of contact with CEOs of airlines.

If they had to pay someone considerable to downgrade a cabin to make way, then so be it.

I’ve had a few experiences with high profile people in the cabin, generally they also travel with a agent/bodyguard, remain incredibly private, and have little correspondence with anyone. You wouldn’t even know they are in the cabin. His team won’t want photos of him on the flight leaked out also, so EK crew might be told to ensure privacy that nobody is taking photos and delete if they do.

VIPs generally come with a whole set rules.

Such things happen before or at boarding. I got shunted from BA F 1A LHR-SYD once with no explanation except seat need for DYKWIA.
