Australia wins by 270 runs. England all out for 370.

Now the storms are very welcome to come any time they like.

1 down 4 to go - soon be all over

With any type of sporting contest one should never be complacent. Remember the Botham Test or Eden Gardens 2001 and VVS Laxman? It is starting to really annoy me about the way that some journos regard some sporting contests as a lay down misere. I would like to see us win the Ashes back, but what if Ponting and McGrath are unavailable for ADL or what if we lose the toss and field and the Poms make 450 - 500 in the first dig. What if Harmison has got his rhythm back by the time they get to PER? It could be a long hard slog until one side or the other can claim a series victory

As an englishman my cconfidence is a little shaky that we wont win a single test.

Very convincing victory.

England needs to do some soul serching to avoid a whitewash!

For England to trouble Australia they would need a fit Simon Jones and Steve Harmison back to his best. Michael Vaughan would be an inspirational selection although his fitness may not be 100%.

England have won the toss and elected to bat.

Interesting that they have kept the same side that lost the first test....

Fark - Strauss is gone :(

@JohnK - see what I mean that's probably the problem ;)
