Any Ihg Platinum members could help, that'd be great. Do you know if Crowne Plaza Adelaide give room upgrades to Platinum Ambassadors?? Thanks in advance

No upgrade for me (an IHG Platinum) at CP Adelaide until I asked for one after pointing out that their own website states that Platinums get "Complimentary room upgrades (subject to availability)". IHG Rewards | Crowne Plaza Adelaide There seemed to be plenty of availability.

It was only then that I was reluctantly given a 1 category upgrade to a junior suite. And was told it's "just this once" !

The rest of my stay was fine.

What. What's happening. in Adelaide??? Hey the Intercontinental is a much friendlier place to stay. Their Club room staff are fantastic. Why bother being a Platinum member if you don't get any benefits??

This is why I prefer adl Hilton.... Always upgraded to exec level with free breakfast, wifi and lounge access.
