Current F Lounge Menu (LAX)

Going to bump this up again, fingers crossed someone’s seen the menu recently!
Thanks again!

I had the burger tonight and was disappointed. It was very dry. I think maybe they forgot the sauce.

It was an absolute zoo tonight, frequent PAs to take your bags off the seat and when I was having a shower the hostess was going up and down the corridor saying “hurry up other people need the showers”. That and having to use the remote gates to board QF16 and being almost the last the board the aircraft despite WP flying J... doesn’t feel very premium.

majority of pax in QF LAX Flounge are either OW Emerald of flying in F. Might be a different story if you’re OW Emerald in QF J lounge getting priority in showers. Also don’t forget there might be some QF CL members in the lounge too.

Might be time for QF to turn other airline pax away when it gets this busy (as BA often do). It’s Qantas lounge, not Oneworld , and if the experience is going to be degraded to this level better to preserve it for your own pax.

Should have asked to speak to Lounge mgr Rico or Mariam & voice your complaint. Nothing much can be done afterwards on a public forum.

Oh there were plenty of people doing that (I was sitting right near the entrance). They were well aware of the issues.

just to illustrate how crowded it was - the wifi network couldn’t handle the traffic and would barely let you log in. Too many people trying to connect.

Except it is the designated lounge for BA and CX ie they have an arrangement for their pax to be there.

Report on FT that a CX First PAX was denied entry even though they were in posession of an "Invitation" provided at check-in.

There were over 2100 QF PAX flying out of LAX on Friday night (3 x A380, 3 x B789 - all chockers).

There’s plenty of reports from BA and CX lounges of excluding QF PAX when full. To be honest if it’s going to be the de facto oneworld First lounge its not big enough. I would much prefer the AA Flagship lounge over the QF FLounge if it’s going to be that crowded.

Here’s the thing. It’s not the de facto oneworld first lounge. It is the official lounge that BA and CX have contracted to be their lounge at LAX. BA and CX direct their passengers there - there is no alternative except the AA lounge in another terminal (yes I know there’s a connector etc).
Maybe BA and CX need to use AA instead but the fact is that the QF lounge is their contracted one at the moment.

Are there examples of a case where QF has contracted to use the BA or CX lounge but that lounge has turned passengers away? I don’t recall this to be true.

Sadly I had a 2.5 hour stopover in LAX last night, but my flight in was delayed by 2.5 hours. Mad rush and just managed to catch qf94 home. Still waiting on my bags as they didn't make the transfer. Hence, no menu update from me.

Spring menu. Service is getting worse.

Last night, it was a zoo. Offered water when seated and promptly forgotten. Watched others who were seated after us served water, then asked another waiter who promptly forgot. I eventually caught the original waiter’s eye by calling out to him a little louder than I should have, he returned at the same time as the second waiter and we ended up with two waters. The blueberry cobbler was only just hot enough. The champagne service at the table was very slow, but on a good note the waiter (Jim or Joe) serving in the main area was excellent.
