Still seems to be quoted at the top...

Today's menu has a quote from MR Perry, but he's no longer credited with creative input into the menu (that I can see). Calamari is still good tho'

Well it may be pure coincidence but this is one of the best menus I've encountered. Goodbye Mr Perry. Hello flavour, variety, quality and taste.

The reports of the sale said Mr Perry would be keeping his QF consultancy. Still on the QF F menus after the sale completed, and they had "Rockpool Bar & Grill style" dishes.

The previous menu had references on quite a few dishes to either a Neil Perry Restaurant or Cook Book.

First time I've seen or tried the HRB Chardonnay. It's also the first Chardonnay I've ever had the tasted and smelled like banana! Still very nice.

And there was something slightly different about the S&P squid last week. The squid cuts are different sizes and they don't have the amount of scoring as before.

Very different to the reds in Melbourne this week -- basically the same as the last menu. I'll be in SYD next so will sample these (for breakfast!).

While semi off-topic, here's the new LAX F lounge menu. I got to try it on the first day last week.

The sticky pork salad was awesome, squid was excellent, and the laksa was delicious but very dense.

The blueberry cake made for a lovely dessert too - the portion size was just right.

I quite enjoyed the Penfolds Cab Shiraz.

The corn and kale salad was very light and fresh. Tasted great. Parmesan was a great touch.

While I had it as a starter, it would be wonderful in between mains.

It's deliberately omitted. Will need to rectify that situation on Boxing Day!

I find that odd too. Can't imagine many patrons wanting to down a glass of Shiraz at 9am. But a glass of the Perrier Jouet on the other hand....

I didn't take note, as the staff said the new dishes were a must try. From memory there was a taco of some description.
