CZ sky pearl miles due to expire

I have just under 43,000 CZ sky pearl club miles due to expire in Jan 2016, Any suggestions of what to do with them as I do not expect to fly with CZ and there is not enough to use on a flight redemption or upgrade. Any trick that I'm missing to transfer?

Not sure how much is needed for partner awards, but have you looked at/considered how many points for redemption to NZ on China Airlines? They are a skyteam partner (they fly from BNE to AKL, SYD to AKL & CHC and soon MEL to CHC). Or even flights to SE Asia on Garuda or Vietnam Airlines.
