Mystery Shiraz – 6 pack
Well, this won't last long...$330 worth of wine for $180. There's only a small number of 6 packs available. No further discounts for Stone Cellar Members. Includes: 6 x HEAD Mystery? Shirazheadwines.com.au
I know this wine as the beige label. Not sure whether you more experienced wine drinkers / deal hackers will think this is a good offer, but I was browsing through Dan's cellar release list and picked up some Wynns white label shiraz 2013 as an everyday quaffer. Not cheap at $20 pb, but it's aged and Mike Bennie gave it 93 on Wine Front, which was enough for me to pull the trigger.
FC have the 2009 for $19, or $18 in 6's, seemed to be a good year. would be cheaper with SB, flybuys and current codes (little birdie)Not sure whether you more experienced wine drinkers / deal hackers will think this is a good offer, but I was browsing through Dan's cellar release list and picked up some Wynns white label shiraz 2013 as an everyday quaffer. Verdict?2016 Brunette was delivered for me.
I would contact CM and return the purchase. I think Duval made this exclusively for WooliesDuval Caleo Barossa Valley Shiraz 2018
Generous depth of plump, dark fruit, lovely fine, polished tannins and soft more-ish finish .www.cellarmasters.com.au
Anyone else tried with this wine? Took delivery of 2 cases during the week and cracked open a bottle yesterday. Very fruit, almost fruit juice like (ribena?), complete lack of any sort of complexity. Also, despite the bottle indicating its 14.5%, I'm convinced there's no alcohol content (~1/2 bottle down and no effect).
Keen to hear others thoughts on this one but a very odd/confusing drinking experience (even more surprising given a Barossa).
It is Martins Vineyard Limited McLaren Vale Shiraz 2016 I would not recommend it but YMMVWine Specials Online - Best Wine Deals Australia

Any idea? Honestly $27 down from $150 sounds like a joke.
I don't mind some of their wines, but not worth $100-150rrpIt is Martins Vineyard Limited McLaren Vale Shiraz 2016 I would not recommend it but YMMV

Sounds like Curtis Limited release Grenache.Anyone know this? I'm starting to go off the vale, but can always be tempted by old Grenache.

Yeah, I think it is.Sounds like Curtis Limited release Grenache.
Personally I would hunt premium Clarendon Grenache for that price that sometimes pops up for sale.
Not a huge fan of Grenache personally but was told by a person in the wine industry that Clarendon Grenache (Blewitt Springs I think) is iconic and to die for.
Was offered this week at Langtons for $25 as a mystery deal I think.does premium Clarendon Grenache pop up often?
I'll keep an eye out for it, I'll give it a shot. Was offered this week at Langtons for $25 as a mystery deal I think.
I personally think it would be superior to Curtis however this is my opinion only and YMMV
This was from my broker there "
2013 Clarendon Hills Clarendon Grenache, McLaren Vale - $25 bottle. RRP $55.
Minimum order 6 pack. Orders over $300, Freight free.
95 Points, James Halliday:
Deep, bright colour, very rare for 3yo grenache, indeed for grenache of any age unless it be Clarendon Hills; the palate is full, supple and round, with red fruits in the ascendant, floral notes slipping in behind. Has all the structure and ripeness one could wish for. Cellar to 2028."
