Possingham & Summers Signature Shiraz 2018

Anyone ever tried? I didn't get time to get to the tastings. Skye Cellars rate 99pts(Their own rating)

Basically they've got members special packs which cost around $14 a bottle. I am very curious, the Cab Sav is 98pts by their own standards.
I didn't rate either of them much. I've stopped buying from Skye - they have an inflated sense of value for many wines

Yeah, I've grabbed some bottles through them aka $15 RRP $60 and was very happy.

They do sell Schoolhouse for $12-14/by but otherwise I avoid. They actually do wine tasting occasionally too!

Just most nicer French wines seem to be ...

Domaine Fabien Coche Meursault Rouge 2016
Lucien Muzard Bourgogne 2017 (Stelvin Lux)
Las Flors de la Peira 2011
Clos des Fees Vieilles Vignes rouge 2015
Lucien Muzard Santenay 1er Cru Clos Faubard 2016 (Stelvin Lux)

That's what I ended up with, looking into

Jean Foillard Foillard Cote du Py 2018

Winesquare seems to have good everyday prices on French, much cheaper than Buzz. Buzz with the 35% was cheaper by 10% etc
how are they ridiculously expensive? perhaps somewhat relatively so when compared with Australian counterparts, but certainly not ridiculously, and don't forget about WET

until today, DITC have 15% off selected wines including Foillard CdP 2018 $79.99, else 2019 is $73.04 at TWC after 8.8% Cashrewards - I haven't had either, but instead these, and you might also like to consider Burgaud

Yeah, I meant expensive compared to what you get here for the price. I think Australian wine is pretty reasonable.

One of the Pinots is $95, the other $105. You can get The Standish for that price etc.

That's all I was saying, but it is what it is. I got them cheaper with the discount so I'm content. I wanted to try some decent French, in the grand scheme of things there's alot of $50-200+ quality wine on the planet.

I was going to buy some Grand Cru wines which are around $150 for pre-order and deliver led mid 2023 🤣🤣
Otherwise their around $250 for what I was seeking.

Above what I'm willing to spend. :)

2019 Jean Foillard Morgon Cote du Py looks really good, I am trying to restrain from buying Wine that expensive ATM.

Interesting, they previously advised me that they weren't getting any in.

Did they sell any single bottles or just the masterpack (I see them listed as OoS).

Too late for this vintage - but if these are of interest I'd suggest joining the sami-odi mailing list.
Minimum purchase was 3 bottles the last 2 years since I joined (or none if you didn't want to take any)
