That would be in the ideal world. They are just behaving as you would when you have a significant and dominant market share position in the capitalist economy. I would blame the toothless watchdog ACCC who allowed for this to happen. Personally I mostly buy online and haven't experienced many issues yet. The local DM shop has also been kind to me.
But I suppose some stores would have service issues - there are so many of them! All being equal - I would most definitely prefer to support a smaller independent retailer, however at the end of the day would deal at the best price. Short term thinking - I know!
