Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Neither I could find anything that is really attractive. However, I think the following are popular wines that are cheaper than the usual price:-

Wow that was interesting, I ordered a 1/2 dozen of the Feathered Friends Shiraz Cabernet for $12 a bottle and in less than minute it had gone back up to $20 when you click on the link above... Glad I boomed as a snap decision!

edit: Just so this makes sense, I wrote this shortly after 1:00pm but got distracted and didn't post until now

The sale usually runs from approx. 10:00 to 13:00, varies a little, not much though.
First discounts I saw today was at 09:45.

Yep I thought it must be a Carpe Diem sale, I just happened to log onto the thread and saw it at 1:08 and jumped on it, I seem to recall the Carpe Diem's used to be mainly the third Thursday in the month but usually forget about them until I stumble across them on here...

Yes, last one was Jan 28th, none in Feb, mostly last Thursday of the month, sometimes the first Thursday.

It took me a while to get organised and I missed higher rated 2018 389 yesterday - BUT - Dan's price beat the 2019 to $69.00 less 5% Dan's GC = $65.55ea for 12 IMCAC
I had to click on a few VC stores to find 2018. Then had a text to say they were out of stock and offering 2019 in place (or cancel). Still a decent buy for me

Curtis' business model seems to be stick an absurd rrp on all their wines and then immediately offer them around the place at huge discounts.

They're the rug merchants of wine
... many on this forum (including me) say that their wines aren't bad at the discounted price. (I've got some 2015 cavaliere from some years ago that's quite good at $20.). But the level of artificiality in their RRPs makes most of us avoid them like the plague so as not to reward such a shabby ploy...

I stil have one left in the fridge. I think i got them in virgin wines deal some 3-5 years ago. I had one about 6 months ago and it was pretty good. Better than a typical $20 bottle.

30% Liquorland $30 cap 4-10pm
3k flybuys $50 spend selected wines

2 bottles of St Hugo CS $41
Did anyone take a screenshot of the 3k flybuy for St Hugo on the liquorland website? Still waiting for points to come through and know I’m going to have to chase. Thanks in advance for anyone that can supply!

I have taken a screenshot that states "Collect 3000 Flybuys Bonus points when you spend $50 on selected wines" - dated 26th Feb
