Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Love how the RRP was $250, but the very same wine is listed on their own website for $210

(2018 Dandelion Red Queen of the Eden Valley)
Yeah, this label used to be around $100 RRP, selling for $40-$50, then $150 selling for $50-$60, now $250 selling for $75-$90.

I just got an order in for a case of Unedited in the DMs 6 for 99. Being delivered from NSW to Vic (did it automatically, no funny business). That DM, it's quite the lottery! Now to see if it actually dispatches.
I chatted to an agent yesterday and was told it's out of stock. Asked for delivery to either NSW, SA or QLD.

The Boozebud CB is only on wine, spirits are 7% unfortunately.
I'm done with them, they haven't responded to emails or messenger in 2 weeks. No idea what's going on with their customer service.

However
Penfolds RWT 20% off(This would be under $120)
House Of Arras Brut Elite has a bonus 25% off
Handpicked Capella Pinot Noir 25% off
Champagne Jacquart Mosaique NV 20% off
$120 spend +
Plenty of others with 5-20% off
Should stack with CB.

I would have thought now that the original founders of Boozebud once again own Boozebud after Asahi sold it to them in 2020 that the customer service would have improved. Maybe I am wrong. I think across the board customer service from retail outlets and ecommerce only sites has gone backwards. Auspost is leading the charge for worst customer service. Good prices you quoted. Rwt is tempting.

Yeah,
They haven't even checked Messenger.

I filed a price match via online, and nothing. It's pretty disappointing.

RWT is a good price, but I'll probably pass.

On the same theme, Dan Murphys cancelled my 6 for 99 order today. No apology, in fact they said *I* cancelled the order (which I didn't). Vintage Cellars at least substituted when they stuffed up, Endeavour just threw me to the curb.
Endeavour has ruined DM and Langtons. Customer service almost non existent; to talk to customer service at DM you have to go through live chat. Ther is no telephone contact anymore. Langtons is also non existent and if you use their auction service instead of being able to go through telephone customer service you have to use email only with auction/warehouse for contact. Terrible, no respect for their original customer base.

Anyone notice BWS added a lot of wines to the clearance section with no actual discounts?
BWS actually have quite a few tricks up their sleeves when it comes to clearing Wines.

BWS 35% CB @ CR today, cap $30

Teusner Avatar Grenache Mataro Shiraz 2019, was already on clearance at $18.5 - 10% for 6+
96pts

Chapel Hill McLaren Vale Cabernet Sauvignon @ $18

Teusner Joshua Grenache Shiraz Mourvèdre $18.5

9 bottles all up, $149.56 - $30 CB
= $119.56 = $13.28 a bottle

Saw on OzB:
Saturday 2/4/22 1-5pm AEDT
BWS 40% cashback with SB, cap $40
Says it will stack with BWS's $10 off $50 spend for new accounts promo

My local has Peter Lehmann Stonewell 2015 for $80. Reduced from $92.
If 40% cashback is based on ex-GST price (72.72) = 29.09 discount
Making it ~40.91 with the $10 off
I've bought it for sub $35 before, but those days of deals are probably long gone.

Anyone think the 2015 is worth it?

I think 35%CR. And I think it's worth it for $40-50 each.
I personally enjoyed and I think 2015 is great vintage.

Sorry, just saw you mentioned SB in 2 days time. Not sure if your clearance wine still there by then 😁.
