Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Are the Israeli’s well know for their reds? $40 down to $5 at Liquorland was worth grabbing a couple.

There's some decent wine coming out of Israel. Not familiar with this one though, but at $5 it would be a buy out of interest sake for me. Buy one, try it. If decent go grab more.

I opened up the cabernet. Interesting, complex and fruity - better than $5, but I don’t think I’ll go back for more.

Just pipped me at the post, taken me a while to stir my stumps :). The reviews confirm that this is indeed the Gaelic Cemetery 100%, can't recall the VM price from a few weeks ago (and the pricing has gone now from the original offer on VM) but I seem to remember quite bit of positivity surrounding it...

JD Cellars Secret Wine #467 ($17.98) appears to be 2020 Gaelic Cemetery White Hut Shiraz.

IIRC there has been some chat about Gaelic Cemetery on here, not sure if it's this wine or not, so you may find it has been offered cheaper elsewhere.

It was $18 but I managed to use a code and free delivery to get it for $15 from VM

Sky Cellar is selling a dozen of CURTIS FAMILY VINEYARDS "SMALL BATCH" GRENACHE SHIRAZ 2020 at $182.40.

I remembered someone mentioned it is pretty good here.

Let me know if any one is interested in sharing a dozen from Brissy (sorry if it is the wrong forum)

Cheers

I recently ordered the MR Riggs Mr Brightside Eurotrash red blend (Cab, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Sangiovese), currently $11/btl in 6's - %50 off direct from the winery - as I'm generally a fan of anything Ben Riggs does. Very impressed for the price for a medium body red. Very smooth and plenty of complexity.
