I picked up the find today and it is indeed the '18. Maybe I should have asked if they would price match the '19It's surprising what you find sometimes.
I did try and get 6 but only 4 available and I suspect that the vintage will be 19 not 18. View attachment 292475

I also found at another Dan's 1 bottle of the '18 Shiraz for $29.00
It's a seriously good wine too - i've got another 2 lying down in the cellar. probably needs another couple of years to enter its best drinking window, and then will last considerably more! It's surprising what you find sometimes.

Thanks for sharing this. I did an online click and collect for 2 bottles from brisbane airport. The manager called me shortly after to say they had just been purchased in store 10 mins earlier. He offered to swap them for the straight shiraz at the same price which I was more than happy with. I hope someone on this forum ended up with the 3 CS shared3 at BNE Airport and 10 Bulga (WA) $27.55 in any 6.

$20 down to $6 at Vintage Cellars - not sure if it’s any good and deal isn’t as good as some others we have seen from VC in the past however might be a good quaffer for someone in need. FWIW rating on Vivino is 4.1 - not that I place much reliability on that
Great point, I didn’t think to check FCThanks Elle - seems like a good find. Also available at First Choice at the same price or $5.70 each in a sixer.
My mate bought it and brought to a BYO dinner to try it out - wasn't to my liking - a bit watery, thin and lacking FWIW. Surprising actually as Langhorne Creek is known for bigger gutsier reds.Modatto cab

Don't forget 20% cashback at Liquorland todayCheers, went in for 6.
Also same price at Liquorland (who I think are interchangeable with First Choice as I saw a guy working at First Choice in LiquorLand gear the other day), and can stack with 2000 flybuys over $50 spend.

I’d been thinking about buying one of these for the past few months, so quite timely all these comments. I’m reading them with a lot of interest …
The point I was making (dim, dark past now) is simply that staining or lack thereof on a micro-agglomerated cork isn't a reliable indicator of age, one of the unstained corks I photographed was pulled from a 2013 red....Speaking of corks and how the reschke diam cork came out unstained, here's the nicely stained diam from some 2015 Curtis Cavaliere I necked the other day (which, despite our usual complaints about Curtis' rrp inflation was delicious and v. decent value for $20ish).
The CorkyTwister works quite brilliantly especially for old corks as the hypodermic exerts very little pressure when inserting it thus avoiding the cork being being pushed into the bottle, youngest son gave me one a few years back and I left it in an Airbnb, never got it back (Amazon have them for around $50))
