Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Afternoon all. Been a long long time since I've posted here so apologies if it's old news.

I just picked up a case of the 2021 Turkey Flat Grenache for $28.99/bottle, which seemed too good to pass up considering it's normally a $45+ bottle.

Add in the 8.8% cashback and free shipping brings it down to $26.44 a bottle.
6er in the way home, funny getting the mail when you are sitting at the ZWine Bar in Tanunda

Winestar seems to fly under the radar, but these 95pts JH offers are pretty sharp buying!

Both very much 'real' deals unlike 95% of the secret offers/deals online at the moment, The Best of the Best Pack 25 is a terrible example of RRP BS

I would say the cab is either St Hubert's or Rob Dolan White Label, from the JH score, alcohol % and drink to date. Haven't tried either.

I noticed our First Choice has lots of things "reduce to clear" and "last chance". Nothing that really caught my eye but lots of six packs of different beers, a few gins etc.

Curtis Martins Shiraz on Winedirect for $142.50 6pack delivered.
Code Secretdrop and $45 credit Amex(targeted)

"While Stocks Last"? That's usually the good stuff! Not seen them done a decent clearance for awhile now.

No good stuff at my store, or it was all gone already. I've had a few good finds there before but not this time.

Anyone with finewineco, some really good deals today. 6x Sticks cabernet for $41, I got the last case but there’s still a few other deals available.
So, these turned up...cleanskins, dusty as f, damaged screwcaps. I emailed, they refunded and sent me a bottle of the latest vintage. Good service.

Just arrived but planning Rockford, Charly Melton, Langmeil, Poonawarra, Riesling freak and Kellermeister. Turkey Flat too. Maybe Travis Earth. Any suggestions
Yep, grab me some basket press ;-)
I had 2 hours one on one with Charlie about 30 or more years ago on a quiet mid week day. Best wine education ever.
I'm going to Queenstown next month, was planning to visit Mt Difficulty but also looking for ideas...there was a thread in that but it's closed.

Amisfield and Akarua are close to QT, I've been to both and they were worth visiting. Gibbston looks an interesting site.

Well worth a trip over to Wanaka too, lunch at Cardrona pub and then Felton Road but Rippon is the showstopper.

I think Chard Farm is one of the most picturesque wineries in the world, views in every direction …they also makes some very high quality pinots

Just wanted to say thanks to roo of the year for the Carpe Diem sale info.
Our order arrived yesterday and we’re very happy 😃

Edit to add: and thanks to redbigot for answering my questions 😃

If you want lunch at Mt Difficulty make sure to book,
Akarua has been bought out and I think wines are now under the Mora label. They have an associated restaurant away from the cellar door.
Gibbston is big and usually busy but have a big range of wines.
Peregrine is worth a drop in.
Aurum, small, lovely wines.
Maude is worth a visit and restaurant at night.
Rippon is spectacular, but wines expensive (over-priced in my opinion).
Valli have a great range, tastings at Kinross Taste our Premium Central Otago Pinot Noir - Valli Wine
Cadrona Distillery if you are interested in Gin/spirits/liqueurs.
