Journal is a beautiful wine and big favorite in our house - I bought a 1/2d couple weeks back at $89

Bear in mind that it is passed its drinking window.

Ive had earlier vintages in previous year or two which had held up ok. Cabernet was heartier than the Syrah versions of the Hickinbotham.

I only went by the Nicks drinking window 2009 Clarendon Hills Hickinbotham Cabernet Sauvignon | Nicks Wine Merchants
And some Vivino reports suggested that 2009 CS turned brown. Maybe this particular vintage - not sure. I would have jumped if it was 2010

For some reason it's not widely publicised (unlike #1), but they've been making this for a while. I have some 2010 in my cellar, and CellarTracker has photos going back to 2005...

My apologies, its not bad but not overwhelming when I saw three average wines in the pack.
