I think 2021 yielded more output than previously. Wendouree also confirmed more output in 2021.

Yeah- 2021 vintage in general had much higher yields and much better grapes. I think it is the most recent vintage to load up on. Everything should cellar well.
I definitely intend to get a bunch of Wendouree, and also Mount Mary as well for the 21 release.

And for sure yes- the Standish are starting to get expensive- but hey: free shipping! haha

Im guessing it could well be Langtons but would love to know if there’s any alternatives. I I only have 3 x little wine 10 to sell. I spent years trying to like the little wine 7 I had but it’s just to floral for me! Thanks in advance !

I can’t help you with the question but isn’t it funny how different people have different tastes, I only started out from LW#8 but I’ve never found any of the LW’s floral

I have gone big on the 2021 vintage in SA and VIC. Spent too much money and haven't got to the Mount Mary 2021 release yet (when released later in the year). Oh and need to buy some 2021 Curly Flat Pinot Noir too.

On other matters, 2021 Yarra Yering number 1 got a 100 from Tyson Selzer and are now $150 cellar door. I am pretty sure that last time I bought they were 120. Got some back vintages last year from Costco for 99, they are all gone now. Costco has some surprising stuff, they are well stocked on Penfolds at the moment.

Probably still overpriced! There was so much hype about the 2014 that I bought a few bottles on release. Been stored properly since, but was pretty disappointed with one tried last year at eight years of age. Going to sit on the others for a little while just in case although would be happy to hear others' experiences.

Just wanted to follow up on this as I opened a bottle last night.

Thought it was terrible. Not sure it's even suitable for cooking (though i'll probably use it for that).

Anyone else experienced it from the winestar purchase? Wondering if I got a bad batch, though the 1 star reviews on vivino mirror my tasting.
