Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Topcahback.com.au are offering a massive 40% cashback at BWS for 24 hours between 12pm AEST Tuesday 20th June to 12pm AEST Wednesday 2nd June 2023.

I've used them before and have had successful tracking. Well known on Ozbargain now.

Edit: Forgot to mention the cashback is capped at $30 per member.

What are they like with tracking?

I just created an account using the referral thread and ordered 3 bottles of Wynns black label cabernet for $28 each before cashback, less $30 cashback and $10 referral credit = $44. I then referred a family member and ordered another 2 bottles (last remaining stock), less $22.40 cashback and $10 referral credit = $23.60. Total of $67.60 for 5 bottles, or $13.52 per bottle. I believe I should also receive a $30 credit for referring my family member, bringing it down to $37.60, or $7.52 per bottle. Nice.

Tracking can be slow. Can take 24 hrs. But has always tracked for me. I've also been using their US site for some time.

Tracked successfully, but hadn't received a message from BWS to say ready for pick-up so called them just now and they said they've been trying to contact me (no missed calls) - apparently out of stock. Told them not good enough, website was showing 5 and my expectation is they honour it with stock found elsewhere or another vintage. Waiting to hear back.

Thisis quite common with BWS.
Yep have had it once before with them. Very frustrating this time around though, as I'm not confident topcashback would track the refund and a subsequent new order correctly and still award the cashback.

Decent enough outcome though, they're going to substitute it for the 2019 black label shiraz. Not my preference, but for $7.52/btl I'll try not to complain. Hopefully the cashback will still be awarded.

The Wine Collective seems to have started some sort of sale, there appears to be some good discounts on certain wines, i noted these two at good prices:

$70.99:

$99.99

Always on the look out for Klein constantia, the '19 vintage rates better than the '18, but the prices are very good as i've never seen it at 70$

Picked up the shiraz, and was offered a $20 voucher as compensation for not having the cabernet in stock. Price per bottle down to $3.52.

Nothing decent discounted in store worth reporting back on.

I just grabbed two bottles of 2020 Stefano Lubiana Pinot Noir from BWS. $19ea after discount and cashback. I've had their primavera before but not the estate label.

Also received a single 2019 By Farr Tout Pres from Vintage Cellars ($39 after discount and cashback). Because it came by itself in a case they threw in 8 cans of some Prosecco spritzer thing that I assume was cheaper than using cardboard to fill in the empty space.

EOFY wine sales are in full swing, getting a lot of them at the moment. Wineries, retailers, etc. Not used to seeing EOFY as the "excuse". Hopefully the 2017 Howard Park Leston Shiraz 12 Pack for $140 delivered was a good investment.

Where did you get the Leston from at that price?

Where was this and is it still available?

Not sure if it was targeted (which is why I didn't post here) but Burch Family Wines had a 2 day sale, first time they tried it. Had to pre-register. It's finished now. Unfortunately it was $20 shipping per case, with no ability to trigger free shipping. Would have bought more if they did.

That is still a great price!
