I’m happy with cellar door price, would not sell for profit but also wouldn’t pay more myself either. They have been selling at Langtons auction for $161 . $250 per bottle seems a little rich even if it has been cellared correctly
Best not tell people about some of the locals here in Adelaide flogging recent vintages <$100 over the barWhere I like to go, current vintage about $120
Yes a full bottle.Rockford BP Shiraz full bottle in a restaurant?
You're probably right that we should keep the secret to ourselves.Best not tell people about some of the locals here in Adelaide flogging recent vintages <$100 over bar
MW Wines are offering free subscription to their auctions. (Usually $27.50)
Please don't use the mycoles thing. Employees get terminated for misuse of their discount card, and distributing it around the internet for others to use is certainly that. This naive sod doesn't deserve to be sacked so you can save 5% off your premium beverages. Stop posting it, qaz.
indeed, not the point, but numbers have been initially posted here and elsewhere by others, with the origin of at least one being an authorised public promotion, so isn't it possible that others are? in any case, i'm just including/sharing all the discounts/cashbacks known to me in trying to achieve the lowest end cost, even if not actually attainable by meHardly the point
yes, there must be some benefit to being a localYou're probably right that we should keep the secret to ourselves.
Yeah, yeah "don't shoot the messenger" etc - I reckon we can do better than that. I mean, you forgot to include theft as an option to obtain these products cheaper.

The terms and conditions say you cannot use employee discount cards so I don't bother even though I could use my sons card as he has offered.Yeah, yeah "don't shoot the messenger" etc - I reckon we can do better than that. I appreciate you and your posts on here. But this mycoles stuff has to stop IMO.

If we are going to compare leaking and using COLES staff discount by those who are not entitled to theft, then by the same logic, leaking and using LANGTONS staff sale should be considered theft as it is a benefit exclusive to Endeavour employees.Bit of a stretch to compare using staff discount to theft
Not strictly true, it was always available to some others in the liquor industry and with the new Carpe Diem format it's obviously open slather to anyone with a (free) Langton's account. If we are going to compare leaking and using COLES staff discount by those who are not entitled to theft, then by the same logic, leaking and using LANGTONS staff sale should be considered theft as it is a benefit exclusive to Endeavour employees.
.
Coles discount was always available to some others in the liquor industry. What makes taking a benefit you are not entitled to form Coles any different from taking a benefit you are not entitled to from Endeavour group? Not strictly true, it was always available to some others in the liquor industry and with the new Carpe Diem format it's obviously open slather to anyone with a (free) Langton's account.
These numbers are not tracked and not verified for all CLG online stores. My number, which ceased working in-store within a month of me leaving the business, still works just fine.Bit of a stretch to compare using staff discount to theft
The myColes number has been publicly leaked on a searchable website. I don't see how Coles can terminate the employee without an unfair dismissal lawsuit.
For those interested in the number, hit me up with a PM

Bit hesitant to post this publicly lest they fix it, but any 13 digit number starting with 2777 works, and it has been this way for at least 5 years.
Not in my experience, unless they changed it recentlyDoes using the staff discount negate cashback?
It's supposed to, but neither that nor the $10 newsletter codes prevent it from tracking.Does using the staff discount negate cashback?
I've not used the MyColes thing and have bought almost nothing from either of the big chains (other than Langton's) for about 18 months since the fixed the pricing glitches we all took advantage of.Coles discount was always available to some others in the liquor industry. Gives you all the confidence that this is a solid, real-world winery and not something just created to flog rebadged wines at imaginary prices.
