Saw this offered somewhere - sorry can't remember which of these "deal-sites". Greenock Estate has wines on offer everywhere. I think even the mo has one.So, not sure this is the right thread but not sure where else to post it. I was gifted this bottle, unaware of the brand I googled it and noticed the spelling of Vally in the label is not quite right. Then in cellartracker, same incorrect spelling, but a different bottle shape. On the company website it is spelt correctly. No point copying a brand nobody has heard of, thoughts on this just being quality control? View attachment 352076

Seems like all phone numbers for stores have been taken down and the customer support number directs you to the website. Live chat has been unavailable for 4 days. I want to cancel an order but it seems to be impossible….

Big ask I know but can someone give me the lowdown on the Langtons specials? These sales usually run from 11am to 1pm Melbourne time.
My understanding on getting notified re carpe diem is that only staff get sent the price list ahead of time, so your only option is to either befriend one of them or just check the site at 11am on the last Thursday of the month (and other Thursdays as at least once they changed it up).Big ask I know but can someone give me the lowdown on the Langtons specials?
- it looks like there are weekly specials on Thursdays 11am - 1pm, how do you find the specials (do they email? Is there a specific sale page or is it just a matter of hunting around?)
- when the carpe diem comes back how do you get notified? I’ve signed up for a Langtons account but not getting any notifications.
I got a call from them offering St Peter 2019 45/blt, same as the wildcards deal. Let me know if you want the sales person’s numberAnyone seen anything good on cellardoor recently- eg wildcards I've missed? I've got a birthday credit burning a hole in my brain

Same, 1stchoice offering better deals, cashbacks etcSince EDV was spun out and they stopped having great prices all my patronage has changed to First CHoice for the big box purchases. I am sure I am not alone.
I agree with the Matheson holding- Dans has lost its focus and is destroying its brand.
However at some price the shares will be worth buyi
I went to buy a bottle on the weekend but didn't realise it was an online only price. The guy said I needed to order it online to get the price so I stood in the shop and did that on my phone. Then because I didn't have ID they wouldnt give it to me as you need that for online orders even though they watched me do it. I barely buy anything from them these days but that will be the last time for sure. Told them to cancel it and walked out. Horrendous service.Since EDV was spun out and they stopped having great prices all my patronage has changed to First CHoice for the big box purchases. I am sure I am not alone.

Could not agree more, Dan’s has clearly moved away from everyday low prices, and price matching doesn’t make up for it, just means it’s up to others to set prices.Since EDV was spun out and they stopped having great prices all my patronage has changed to First CHoice for the big box purchases. Personally, I think Dan's has always been "premium" in that it has stock other retailers dream of (quantity & quality - e.g. cellar releases). Plus they're a highly recognisable brand. I've never considered them cheap apart from the odd deal or misprice here & there.Could not agree more, Dan’s has clearly moved away from everyday low prices, and price matching doesn’t make up for it, just means it’s up to others to set prices.
Going ‘premium’ (if that’s what they were trying to do) was not a good strategy.
