I just had the J Perrier 2012 vintage yesterday. Absolutely delicious with lots of toasty notes. I should try the $55 Royale.Would prefer the Joseph Perrier Cuvee Royale which is also on sale at Dans for $55.
I was actually at a sparkling vs champagne tasting last night and the host told me about the deal so I got one. Would love to try the 2012!I just had the J Perrier 2012 vintage yesterday. Absolutely delicious with lots of toasty notes. I should try the $55 Royale.
Note: you must order 12 bottles minimum to get the deal. Not often I see a merlot deal so thought to change that. Winestar has a mystery merlot, 2018 from the Gouldburn region going for $14.99. This will be the Gioiello Old House Upper Goulburn Merlot 2018. Not familiar with this but do enjoy a good Merlot for a change in scenery. Normally around the $50 mark.
"is a thoroughly beautiful merlot from the Upper Goulburn, with spicy plummy notes on the nose with an infusion of blackberry and prune. The palate combines deep intensity with a delivery finesse. A little dark chocolate, black olive and lightly toasty oak completes an excellent merlot. Drink to: 2023-2033; Price: $45.00; Rating: 94 Points; Ray Jordan"
Retail thinking. People don't react as much to 29 cents whereas 99 cents makes people think of the next higher dollar value cost. For example $19.99 is $20 whereas $12.29 is still seen as $12What is with Dan's pricing policy that now has a bunch of wines being priced with $xx.29? In the old days their usual pricing was ending with 99 cents. When they price beat someone it ends with 95 cents as a general rule. Since when are wines now priced with 29 cents?

If it ends in 7 it's pig swill.x.88 used to be the clearance ones at Dan's.
I think they use a few different cents amounts to signal things about the wines
