Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Pretty sure I bought the 2016 Marsanne from Dans not too long ago for $15-16. I have been drinking it for quite a few years and always really enjoyed it (mixed feelings from my group of friends though). Never tried the 1927 though, worth the extra $?

I bought the mix pack to see if 1927 is worth it. I have been enjoying the regular Marsanne 2017 so worth a try at the special price!

Thanks for the heads up!
A great bargain of an already undervalued beauty.
According to my unreliable memory, the 1927 is WOW, next level, you won't find any other white of this quality for the price.
Snaffled 12x Solera for $149 less 20% too, a multi-vintage blend (not a sherry, though that might be an interesting experiment for Tahbilk?) for everyday tipples & a buffer to the 1927
Cheers

The 1927 vines is an excellent wine but much better when further aged. It's not really ready when released at 8 years old. I have been drinking 2006 to 2008 recently which are lovely with the 07 being stunning. The 2016 is a bit more approachable at the moment than other vintages have been, but again more age would be good.

I agree - I've got a bit of both aged normal and 1927 and they've got some interesting/lovely things going on but am finding them very much a little on the quiet-flavoured side. Had to not chill them to hear what they might be saying!

From here I'll be waiting some years before trying again, when hopefully the Marsanne does its famous thing and it's all golden and honeyed.

Credit to Ozbargain on this one but Coles are having some drinks promotions.
CHEERS25 gives $25 off a $100 spend on any liquor.
It also stacks with WINE30 on some selected wines. list here

The range might not be to everyones taste but thought I'd share if there is anything that jumps out as a good deal if you can stack both codes
Nice, thanks - got a couple of leeuwin preludes and a couple of Shaw n smith sav bs for $25 each. Ok price even if it started silly before reductions. Rest of range was a bit meh...

Can get Clonakilla hilltops shiraz down to $20 with these discounts - seems sharp, but the wine isn't that well-rated at least on JH's site.
