Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

That time of year when I get to use 100 credit on selected wines at cellardoor. Any suggestions to a good wine at a good discount? Considering the classic caberents 12 pack ( mamre brook and st George cab savs) at $289 after discounts. Never any penfolds eligible or really any deals as good as the mystery packs.
Thanks for flagging - I had just $25 across two accounts and went for the usual single bottle of St Peter’s shiraz for $33 a bottle. Can’t give advice on larger orders using $100 voucher but hopefully you find a decent deal

I got 2x bottles of St George CS 2021 to use my $100 credit. 96 points by Cambell Mattison

"This has fruit and oak and gives a general impression of power, but it's the firmness of the tannin that roots its quality to the spot. This is a seriously good St George. Blackcurrant, mint, florals and cedar with woodsmoke and fragrant herbs as whispers. It's structured, it's powerful and it's persistent."

My wife got Balmoral Syrah 2010 Museum release with her $25 credit ($31 on top) that we were always keen to try.

Couple of other ideas I was considering to get with my $100 Credit were

Riposte
The Scimitar Riesling 2023
Rating: 96
Precise with stunning clarity and detail, the wine shows crunchy apple, lemon pith and wet limestone nuances on the nose, followed by an ultra-fine palate that’s linear and lively. The wine offers finesse and refinement, superbly structured by bright acidity, finishing impressively long and sleek. At its best: 2027 to 2040. $24.00. www.ripostewines.com.au. Nov 2023.

Received Heirloom
3x McLaren Vale Touriga 2021
3x Coonawarra Cab Sav 2017
3x Barossa Shiraz 2019
3x Adelaide Hills Tempranillo 2019

Pretty happy with it - they all seem to retail for $40 a bottle on their website
Now the only issue is how to split it in half between me and a mate!
Just wondering if anyone bought the Dandelion EOFY mystery pack?

Haha, that's exactly what I was just thinking about you!

Although I love Hunter Shiraz and this is a very nice wine imo. Will cellar for a good while too, so a dozen feels acceptable.

Been wondering if the 'new' owners of McWilliams have over capitalised (incl. with their renos) and are 'liquidating' stock. Langtons have been pushing cheap McWs incl. a dedicated auction last week of older and export stock... might be more sales to come.
