... hunter red .... 97pt, apparently sharp price... but hunter red.

I did get that box of op&oh. Should I have this too?

Edit - that was a serious question to those who understand hunter red... how does the rosehill usually compare to op&oh?

Anyone tried the Dalwhinnie The Eagle Shiraz 2015 and what's your comment? Thanks. It's $69 as a mystery wine at TWC. The Dalwhinnie dropped their price quite significantly recently via mystery deals.

I have one on the way, but don't have high expectations. There are two reviews from Huon Hooke at 88 (2020) and 91 (2022). I bought some of the standard Dalwhinnie Shiraz 2015 from Langton's a few years back at just under $50, wasn't overly impressed.
Of interest, the standard Dalwhinnie Shiraz 2016 is $70, why is the Eagle 2015 actually cheaper?

What’s the general experience re shipping from Langtons? No shipping advice yet from my order last week.

never had an issue, they use their own trucks and drivers. It does take up to a week for shipping advice once it is packed. Melbourne delivery a few days after that.

Some of my carpe diem orders take 2 weeks or more to ship.

Edit: Just received shipping notification for last week’s order after posting this.

My carpe diem order from last sale arrived today. Never had an issue with their deliveries but yes sometimes takes a while, I think perhaps if they're filling direct from winery.

Halliday 2020 gives it 97.
Website states for the 2015 "One of the greatest Eagle’s made to date."
For $51.88 after FLASH-20% and 6% SB on GCs, surely can't go wrong...🤔
