I'm not sure of what type of deals are going around for these, but I'm pretty happy with the mix. Some great inclusions and wines I've been keen to try but haven't previously had the chance

A VM favourite from last year, Jeanneret do have the Westward We Went 2013 Cab Malbec for $10 per bottle in a case through their cellar door (must be trying to unload remaining stock). Westward We Went 2013 Cabernet Malbec | Jeanneret Wines

If you email or call, they are happy to ship (was $16.50 to Melb). Not as low as VM, but still feels like a steal at just over $11 per bottle shipped to stock back up.

It's actually hard to tell because all trace of them disappears from the site. I ordered a mixed case of 12 singles and of those, three are now gone:

Houghton Crofters Shiraz
Purple Hands Wines Mataro Grenache Shiraz
Paxton Quandong Farm Single Vineyard Shiraz

A shame about the Purple Hands in particular. I was hoping to order more before the offer ended if I liked it. Still, you win some, you lose some.

Yes a good GSM for $17.50 :)

2014 Sons of Eden Kennedy GSM $19 a bottle from different drop. (RRP $29)

10% discount for your first order if you sign up to their newsletter - makes this $17.10 a bottle.

Free postage if spend $150 or more.

2014 Sons of Eden Kennedy GSM

The Spinifex Indigene is a cracking wine, especially with some bottle age (~5-7 years).

Spinifex Indigene is great but also about $55/bt - a fairer alternative is perhaps Spinifex Esprit at ~$30/bt :)

Other Barossa GSMs for less than $20-$30/bt worth trying are Teusner Joshua and Avatar (Joshua = unoaked, Avatar = oaked, buy at 1st Choice using $10 off $50+ voucher on OzBargain), Head Wines Head Red, Tim Smith, Schwarz, maybe John Duval Plexus

Like the Kennedy GSM, Different Drop also has the 95pt Sons of Eden Freya Riesling 2015 for $19 until this Sunday, as well as the 97pt Head Wines The Brunette Shiraz 2013 for $49

On a more select note, if anyone has access to The Den but hasn't check it out lately, then you might have missed or not be aware of:

St Hallett Blackwell Shiraz 2014 $25
St Hallett Old Block Shiraz 2013 $65
3 each of the above for $260, saving $10
Coriole Nero 2015 $17.50 - Philip White's review :)
Coriole Lloyd Reserve Shiraz 2012 $64.93
Innocent Bystander Syrah 2014 $15.91
St Hallett Blackwell Shiraz 2013 $27.28
Tatachilla Foundation Shiraz 2013 $33.86
Knappstein The Mayors Vineyard Shiraz 2013 $26.67
Pikes The Dogwalk Cabernet Merlot 2013 $14.30
Petaluma Piccadilly Valley Chardonnay 2015 $31.44
Stonier Reserve Chardonnay 2012 $31.93
Knappstein Single Vineyard Ackland Watervale Riesling 2015 $22.06
Oakridge Local Vineyard Series Chardonnay Barkala Ridge 2015 $22.68

As expected it is the Maverick; arrived today; opened tonite.
It is stunning with a really aromatic nose that drags you in and then a big beautiful long soft palate.
It was something like 45 down to 35 with happybanker but they have now dropped it to 31.5 I believe.
This wine reminds of an old Tintara grenache that was made in an etched bottle. Charles Melton Nine Popes comes to mind too.
Opened a bottle this weekend and it's a cracking drop. Agree about the long soft palate. Jumped on it at $31.50 but now back up around $50/bottle.

I received same set of wines today, pretty happy with that. Looking forward to try the Lindeman's but I guess it needs pretty much of cellaring before I can enjoy it.

Can someone also share here what wines are coming with the Mystery Pack no. 9? I am interested to know is that pack also worth for buying. Thanks.

Just received an email offering the following for 28 hours:

St Henri 2012 $69

Wolf Blass Grey Label Magnum $35

Thanks got the last 4 St Henri at my local DM's.

The Wolf Blass was that price within the last 2 months. Delivery only for me as my local didn't have stock.

Is $69 a good price, or wait (hope? :P) for a better St. Henri deal?

$69 is probably a fair price for this wine. It often retails for around $90.

But much better value with the 8% off cash back + 10% off WISH card discount. Brings the price down to around $56.60.

Forgive my ignorance good doctor, but can you explain how you get those discounts?

Thanks Dr R! Gotta start acquiring these cards!!

The cashback is easy enough, here's the link Dan Murphy's | Cashrewards

I have no idea where Dr Ralph got the 10% off WISH cards, there's a standard 5% off link I could give you and I saw 5.5% last week but I haven't seen 10% recently so I hope to find out!

Big W were selling physical Big W gift cards at 10% off a while ago. Whilst branded as Big W, they are, in fact, WISH gift cards.

I was talked out of it by the warning on the landing page that said they were only for use at Big W, I think it may have said they were not for use at other Woolworths stores. My loss if not true :(

Are you talking about BigW eCards? or the physical ones you buy in-store?
