Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

The cashback is easy enough, here's the link Dan Murphy's | Cashrewards

I have no idea where Dr Ralph got the 10% off WISH cards, there's a standard 5% off link I could give you and I saw 5.5% last week but I haven't seen 10% recently so I hope to find out!

Excuse my ignorance, so do you simply make the purchase and then get credited the cash back to your cash rewards site to be used next time at any participating store?

No, you get CASH back.

Create an account with cashback. Login to it. Then go to any store (like Dan's) that you would normally purchase from. Make your purchase and a % of that purchase is credited to your cashback account. You then withdraw that cash into your bank account. It takes take a few months to come through though.

I received over $1000 cash back over the last 18 months.

Its showing only 7% cash back?

5% off WISH cards is instant - pay $95 to get a $100 gift card (for example)
The 7% cash back takes ~60-90 days to be credited to you (I guess to make sure you don't return the goods). It's real money you can get credited to a bank account of your choice.

I was talked out of it by the warning on the landing page that said they were only for use at Big W, I think it may have said they were not for use at other Woolworths stores. My loss if not true :(

That was for the eGift cards bought online. The physical cards bought in store at 10% discount are WISH cards and can be used in any WOW group store.

Can still get them at 8% discount but the T&Cs are quite clear so I'm not sure if can be used for DM.

Mystery pack #8 from Dan's (actually via Winemarket) came today. Inside was

I'm not sure of what type of deals are going around for these, but I'm pretty happy with the mix. Some great inclusions and wines I've been keen to try but haven't previously had the chance
Thanks for posting. Like the look of this one too.

After wish cards and CR this will be under $180 delivered. Allowing 20 each for the Torbreck, Voyager (only one I've actually tried - v nice) and Two Hands, you've got a pretty compelling price for the Meshach, Ironstone, Limestone and Fraser Gallop imo.

Love the one bit of feedback on the website for this pack (from my home town no less!)

This is the worst 6pack I have purchased from
Dan I wish I had sent it back rather than tipping it down the sink. Will do more research next time

losing a lot of confidence with DM online ordering...this is not the first time
as advertised ordered 2011 Fermoy Estate Cab Sav....got 2013
2012 Hayshed Hill Cab Sav........got 2014
Unbeatable Australian Red 6 pack ..the 2012 Shiraz Durif....got 2014
the 2013 Mcwilliam Hilltop Shiraz.....got 2014
the Johnny walker Scotch 2 pack................the black label came in with the black box...ok
the Gold Label Reserve normally comes in a gold box but came unboxed
with the seal and label.... both grazed.....
just pathetic ...

Don't expect DMs to care. Had a very similar issue to this where they were selling 2012 for X price and 2013 for a different (cheaper) price. I paid for the 2012 and received 2013. They politely told me to stuff off and did absolutely nothing.

Seems at odds with most people's DM experience here - most people have reported no issues returning incorrect vintages. Note that the "current vintage" wines have a note saying you might get something else - this is because the UPC barcodes don't change from year to year, and apparently DM's systems aren't able to track what specific vintages are available. When marketing a specific vintage (e.g the cellar release stuff), DM affixes its own barcode, replacing the winery's one, and you should get the specific vintage you've ordered.

Not sure if many people are on it, but the Accolade Wines Cellar One site has Leasingham Classic Clare Sparkling Shiraz 2006 for $108 a sixer + free shipping

Currently $47 a bottle at DANs
